Rebekah's Narrative~

My brothers, sister and I are the first vampires in history. 300 years ago, we called New Orleans home.

Now we've returned, drawn by a witch who seeks to use it brother Klaus' unborn children a leverage in a brewing war...

But his quest for power has turned brother against brother. Leaving our family more divided than ever.

Now that Elijah has returned, can our family unite to face this new threat?

Third Person POV~

Classical music played through the plantation. The Original brothers were reading in the living room when. Rebekah walked in.

"So this is what you do the first time we're back together as a family, vampire book club," she says as she looks at her brothers disbelievingly.

"Reading Edifies the mind, Sister. Isn't that right, Elijah?" Klaus says not looking up from his poetry.

"Yes, that's quite right Niklaus." Elijah answers. "And what's this business?" Rebekah motions to the dead girl on the coffee table.

"This is a... peace offering." Elijah motions to her in a flamboyant way.

"I presumed, after so much time desiccating in a coffin that my big brother might be a bit peckish."

"So I explained to my baby brother that forgiveness could not be bought. I'd simply prefer to see a change in behavior that indicates contrition and personal growth. Not this, nonsense." Elijah says as she turns the page of his book.

"I couldn't very well let her go to waste, could I?" Klaus defends with a smirk.

"Well, I suppose I'll fetch the rubbish bin because she's staining a 200-year-old carpet." Rebekah glares before walking out of the room.

Klaus looked up from his reading as he watched Hayley walk down the stairs and to the kitchen. He huffed and continued his reading after he heard his twin give a simple greeting to the wolf as she cooked.

I was angry with my friend. I told my wrath, my wrath did end.

I was angry with my foe. I told it not, my wrath did grow.

And I watered it in fears, Night and morning with my tears; and I stunned it with smiles, And with soft deceitful wiles.

And it grew both day and night; Till it bore an apple bright, And my foe beheld it shine, and he knew that it was mine.

And into my garden stole; when the night had veiled the pole: In the morning glad I see; my foe outstretched beneath the tree.

Elijah walked into the kitchen to see Hayley sitting on the counter happily eating bacon eggs and toast while she watched the tribrid cook.

Hayley hopped down from the counter to rummage through the fridge. Huffing she spoke, "Listen I know I'm the only one that drinks milk, but would it kill any of you to have it on the grocery list?"

"Speaking of, add bleach," Rebekah comments as she walks through the room. "I'll grab it, it's upstairs." Aleksian commented and turned the stove off.
