I V Y
Did they think I was dumb?
Did I have a face that said; throw shit at me and I'll eat it?
I started this anyway, I told them that I figured out everything. I really did but I wasn't about to tell them that. Let these two think I'm innocent and all. It was better that way. I was not ready to share that part of my past with anybody yet. The only person who knew was Diana and It was better that way.
"Why don't you guys go to the racing club since this one's a mess right now?" Ace suggested. Mason raised his brows at me questioningly to which I shrug, "yeah, sure, why not?"
"Great! I'll see you there, Ace?" Mason looked at Ace who nodded, "yeah, I'll be there in a while. Oh and Ivy? Don't tell anyone about what happened today, okay? The Ace Gang must stay secret." I refrained myself from laughing before nodding, "don't worry. I won't tell a soul."

Entering the racing club, my eyes fell on several people walking and talking here and there. Some were sitting on the bleaches, some were taking pics near the insane amount of expensive cars while some were sitting at the small corner where there were several chairs and table and were eating and drinking.
This place was like a whole different world.
Now that I knew my brother as well and Ace were both involved in the Italian mafia, I knew just how rich they were. My parents didn't work, Mason was the one providing for the family. From what he told me, he worked in a club but now I know that's not true.
"What are we going to do here?" I asked, looking up at Mason curiously. He shrugged, "anything you want; race, drink, eat, bet, take pictures to brag," he let out a chuckle at his own words, "so, baby sis what you wanna do?"
"Why don't you watch me win, baby girl?" On hearing the familiar voice, both Mason and I turned around to look at him.
"It's rude to listen to other people's conversation." I snapped, staring at the unknown man. He chuckled before raising his hands in front of him, "relax, baby girl, I just happened to hear."
"Who are you?" Mason asked, knitting his brows in confusion at the man, "you're new?"
"Yeah," he grinned, "I'm Jason's brother. From what I've heard he's kind of the boss here."
"Jason?" Mason repeated, raising an eyebrow, "He's kind of the boss? Now who the hell told you that?"
"Jason. He's my big bro and I believe every word he says."
"So if Jason tells you you're ugly you'll be like, yeah bro, I believe you, I'm ugly?" I asked to which he chuckled, "he'd never say that. Why would he lie?"
"You were saying something about watching you win?" Mason spoke tilting his head to the side as he took a good look at the guy. He couldn't be younger than twenty three. His hair was dirty blonde and his skin was tanned, he also had hazel coloured eyes. Overall, he looked okay.
"Yeah I'm gonna win. I'm really good at racing and I'm going to race right now. I don't know who the fuck they're waiting for but I can't wait to race and beat whoever Ace is! Jason told me that nobody could ever beat him but I know I can. Oh and my name is Boyd by the way!"
"Nobody cares," I replied, rolling my eyes. Mason snorted, "nobody has ever beaten Ace. Many has tried you know? But good luck, Boyd."
"Thanks, man." He then shot me a wink, "watch me win for you baby girl."
"Watch him lose to me," Ace's familiar voice spoke up making me and Mason look behind Boyd to see Ace standing there. Boyd had to turn around to see who was talking. Ace flashed Boyd a smirk, "oh, a new face."
"And who the fuck are you?" Boyd asked making Ace clench his jaw, "the one who's gonna kick your loosing ass."
"Ace, huh? Do you know my brother practically owns this place?" Boyd questioned, raising his brows at Ace who stared at him amused.
"My bad. I'm scared, please don't tell him that I'm about to kick your ass." Ace mocked before looking at us, "race's starting in ten minutes. I'll see you guys after the race, yeah?"
"Good luck not that you need it," I said smiling. He smiled back before nodding, "Thanks, Vy." Ace then turned around and walked away after winking at Boyd who clenched his jaw, angry.
"Vy?" Mason raised his brows at me with a smirk, "already on nickname basis. Y'all move quick quick."
I rolled my eyes at his words. "But I must warn you. Please, I don't want you to get involved with Ace, okay? He's my best friend and yes, I do trust him but not with you. He'll break your hea—" I cut him off, "You're saying all those because he's part of a 'gang' and you're scared that I'll be in danger, aren't you?"
He sighed but nodded nonetheless, "yes. I don't want anything to happen to you. You know I'm part of the gang and you being my sister is already dangerous enough for you. Ace has got a lot of enemies, a lot of people who want him dead."
"You being in that 'gang' means you're in danger too. Mom and dad are too. So, you put our whole family in danger. Do you realize that?" I asked as realization suddenly crossed my mind.
"I had no choice. I witness Ace killing someone in one of his club two years ago. It was either I join his gang or die. But he didn't want to kill me because we already knew each other and our parents are friends. We met two weeks before the whole thing. So, he explained to me the things I needed to know and made me join the gang."
I hated that he was using the word 'gang' instead of mafia. But I understood why he was.
