—Mal is definitely stubborn and pretty short-tempered. She doesn't like being told what to do and wants to follow her own path. Her parents telling her to stay away from Mike due to his race caused her to do the exact opposite, going out of her way to befriend him.
—Mal isn't part of the Losers Club, she only joins around the same time Mike joins too. Her strong nature definitely surprises the Losers but she gets along very well with Beverly. She is also fairly new to Derry, only living there a year or so. She was from England and has a British accent. Richie definitely calls her "your majesty" and things like that and makes a British accent constantly around her.
—Mal is afraid of being broken enough to submit to conformity. She doesn't want to be what people make her, she doesn't want to be her parent's perfect and submissive daughter. It's something Pennywise can make her see, her "future" to be just as her family wants her to be.
—If you decide to end the book on IT Chapter 1, I'd like to Mal and Mike's relationship to be open and definitely hinting that they'll be a couple. But if you decide to go up to IT Chapter 2, then I definitely want their relationship known. Mal's adult fc will be Sophia di Martino and she'll stay in Derry alongside Mike. They can be married, it's up to you, but Mal does end up becoming a cop and likes to help out kids.
