—This story takes place right around the beginning of season 2.
—Jack moved to Gotham in hopes to finding a good story, something that could make his name known as a great journalist. When he encounters two psychotic and deadly women, he becomes intrigued by them and soon, it becomes more than just about a story. He's willing to do anything to protect them, even to kill.
—I don't have much of a backstory in mind for Jack, but maybe come up with something where he didn't have the best home life, hence why it was easier for him to snap.
—It's up to you if you want to go with canon events and have Tabitha die. If you do go down this route, I would really love it if you kept Jack and Barbara together, including in the 10 year time skip.
