A beautiful indian love story of two cousins
What happens when two people who cannot stay in a room with each other without biting the other's head off, are expected to spend the life together?
What happens when secrets unravel, exposing them for wh...
"Ajay?" Meera called out, peeking into his room. She bit her lip as she realised that he was on the phone with someone.
"Meera? Come in," he invited her as soon as he heard her voice.
"Dinesh, I'll call you later," he said into the phone before hanging up on who Meera assumed to be his friend.
"Sorry," she apologised for interrupting him as she sat on his bed, facing him.
"No worries, what brings you here at this time Meera? It's almost one in the morning,"
"I couldn't sleep and since you said you will help me out if I needed it, I..." she trailed off, having second thoughts on whether disturbing so late was reasonable.
"And that offer still stands, come here" he said, opening his arms.
She gladly went into them as they sat up on his bed, leaning against the headboard with their legs outstretched. She sighed as she placed her head on his chest.
"What's wrong Meera? Is it your insomnia?" he asked, worry marring his face.
"Kind of. I also am a little worried about Akash bhai and Nithya"
"What about them?" Ajay questioned.
Meera described the conversations she had with the two where they both expressed their discontent to marry each other.
"They're being forced into this and I don't want either of them to regret not speaking up about it in future when they're married or something. Nithya has so many fantasies about the man she wants like the hopeless romantic she is. I don't know about Akash bhai but I am certain he wants a healthy married life with a woman he loves," she said, her mind drifting off to Akash's words
I don't think we will ever love each other like that
"We will help them out okay? We can talk to our parents if they really do not want this. We will be here for them okay?" he said, rubbing her back in a circular motion.
"If only it is that easy, it's hard for our parents to budge" she countered.
"We will try nevertheless" he said confidently.
"Alright we will" she smiled. He always had the right words to say.
"Do you want to go out?" he asked suddenly, catching her by surprise at his untimely request.
"Now?"
"Why not?" he shot back.
Meera did not have an answer to that but she was a little unsure. Noticing her uncertainty, he spoke.
"Baby, think about it. Parents are not even living in the same house as the rest of us. Our cousins won't find out and even if they do, so what? Come on, Meera" his persuasive voice getting to her.
"Fine, let me go change" she agreed, looking down at her baby blue pyjamas.
