Tired eyes (S. 8)

He was exhausted, being awake for more than 48 hours was taking it's toll on him but he couldn't stop, not when he was this close to finishing the build. A big yawn escaped Xisuma and his vision blurred for a second. He decided it would be best to still get a short break just to splash some water in his face and maybe fly around a bit.

 Yeah that would probably help him stay awake.

He slowly made his way over to a nearby cauldron and splashed some of the cool water in it on his face. He sighed while looking at his reflection in the water. Even though he felt a little better now it was still visible how tired he was. There were big dark bags under his eyes and he looked pale. For a moment he thought about actually going to bed but he shook that thought away immediately. Deciding he still needed some materials anyways he took off to fly in boatems direction.

It felt hard to hold on to the rockets and from below he probably looked like a kid just learning how to fly. he himself didn't really notice it though.

Heading for the G train he flew over the boatem hole when his body suddenly started to protest and he couldn't keep his eyes open for another minute. Panic rose within him as he fet himself plummet not being able to do anythin about it as his body shut down and he blacked out from exhaustion. 

When he opened his eyes again he had expected to be in his base with all of his stuff being gone. What he didn't expect was to wake up in Impulses base wrapped up in a blanket and a cold wet towel on his forehead. He sighed and sat up. X still felt very tired but since he didn't know how long he had been unconcious for he had to get back to finishing the build!

He got up and his vision immediatly blurred and he wouldv'e collapsed if Impulse hadn't chaught him. "Hey bud you're finally awake!" He said as he set X back down on the bed. Impulse was quick to make him lay down again and put a new, colder, towel on his head. "You really should rest X. You clearly have a fever and I don't know how long you have been up for but it was clearly too long. I was barely able to catch you before you fell in the boatem hole." Impulse implied while pushing Xisuma back down by his shoulder. He only answerd withan annoyed groan.

"Thank you Impulse but listen I really have to go back and finnish that build. I don't have time to just lay arround!" X protested but Impulse was having none of it. "You're not going anywhere I already took away your elytra and rockets. I also asked Ren If he could bring some soup and Cub is going to bring some ice. Now what you're gonna do is sleep until then alright? because I am not going to let you leave with a fever like that and not until you look less sleepdeprived!"

Xisuma sighed knowing he woudn't be able to leave until those requirements where met. "I guess you're right. I really did over do it haha." His chuckle turned into a yawn and he closed his eyes finnaly letting sleep take him away and rest.

X opened his eyes slowly to find Ren sitting next to him. "Impulse is currently afk in the nether he told me to 'watch over you so that you don't try and run off when hes not there'." He said letting out a soft chuckle. "Anyways how are you feeling?" He asked his fluffy ears twitching slightly. "Im feeling a bit better that little amount of sleep helped a lot but I have a headache now and my body is aching." X said with a slight frown and sighed. "Im not gonna go back to my Build anytime soon am I?" Ren shook his head and sent him an apologetic smile. "Sorry no I don't think so. I brought you some soup though." He put the bowl of steaming chicken soup and a spoon on the bedsidetable and got up. "I'm gonna go fetch you some new ice real quick you can eat the soup in the meantime." Ren said and smiled at X before exiting the room.

X slowly sat up and removed the towel from his head. He slowly took the bowl and took a spoonful of soup, blowing on it slightly to cool it. He really did feel terrible. What was he even thinking when staying up working for that long? He put the spoon in his mouth and the soup tasted absoluteley amazing but that was no surpise since Ren was an ecellent cook. the fact that he had only been eating golden carrots for the past few weeks might've also played as a factor but that didn't really matter right now. As X was eating more and mor of the soup he couldn't help but tear up a little. 

He had so many amazing friends and to think they would go out of their way and stop what they were doing was truely baffeling to him. He finished the soup and laid back down just as Ren came back and he smiled at him. "Thank you guys so much." He said and Ren smiled back.

"No problem bro." He wrapped the ice back up in the towel and put it back on X's head after checking his temperature again. "Rest now. Impulse should be back soon if you need anythimg just text me okay?" He said and X nodded in response closing his eyes again and drifting back to sleep feeling warm and happy inside. He had really found his own little family in the hermits.
