When Acrina got to school, she was already 30 minutes late. Panting profusely due to the long run, she sneaked into her class and sat on her sit. Luckily for her, the History teacher- Mr Andy was head struck to the board and didn't notice her enter the classroom through the back door.
"Hey crina, you're late again." Gabel- Acrina's best friend whispered to her.
"I know Gabel but blame it on the traffic." Acrina said smiling.
"Did you walk all the way here?" Gabel asked.
"No, I ran my way here." Acrina replied.
"Woah. No wonder you're all sweaty." Sinthia- Acrina's friend who had also been listening to the conversation said. Just then the bell rang and Mr Andy left the class.
"Hi baby. Coming late to school again are we?" Elliot- Acrina's boyfriend asked flashing a smile as he sat front of her.
"Uhm, there was an heavy traffic and Dad already got me waiting back home." Acrina said.
"I see. Ready for our date after school today?" Elliot asked.
"Oh my goodness, I almost forgot about that. But don't worry, I wouldn't miss our date for anything." Acrina assured him.
