That night, Acrina slept peaceful than ever.
She couldn't believe that Marcelo was her boyfriend now. She had to hit herself a lot of times to make sure she wasn't dreaming.
Marcelo on the other hand never stopped smiling. His parents and sister wondered what was making him so happy.
"Hey, did you win a lottery?" Mrs Ordano asked.
"Maybe he got a scholarship to study in Milly Hill." Torrie joked.
"You guys I'm so happy!" Marcelo exclaimed and hugged his mom.
"What happened son?" Mr Ordano asked.
"I just got a girlfriend." Marcelo replied.
"Oh it's that girl Acrina isn't it?" Torrie said.
"Yes." Marcelo said.
"I'm happy for you son. But you should know that getting into a relationship means a lot of maturity and responsibilities." Mr Ordano said.
"Oh stop it honey. It's not like our son is getting married." Mrs Ordano said and they all laughed.
At school the next day, everyone was surprised on how Marcelo and Acrina kept addressing themselves as sunlight and sunshine.
It wasn't long till all their classmates found out they were a couple.
"Oh I'm so glad you finally broke up with that overbearing Elliot and instead went for Marcelo. He's much better I tell you." Gabel said to Acrina once it was recess and they were in the cafeteria.
"I tell you." Murrisa agreed.
"But I kinda feel sorry for the guy." Sinthia said.
"You mean Elliot?" Gabel asked.
"Yeah." Sinthia replied.
"Don't. Can you believe he almost took advantage of me. I don't even want to talk about him." Acrina said.
"I'm sorry." Sinthia said.
"You shouldn't be. It's not your fault things ended up this way." Acrina said and all of a sudden Elliot appeared from nowhere and hit the table really hard.
"I can't believe this bae. I give you only one day and you move on? Don't you even love me?" Elliot asked angrily.
"Please leave Elliot. And don't call me bae because we already broke up." Acrina said and looked away.
Elliot was having none of it and forcefully grabbed her wrist.
"What are you doing?! Let go of me!" Acrina yelled. Her friends tried to pushed Elliot away and soon a crowd gathered there.
"I can't just let you be his girlfriend. Can't you see he is trying to come between us?" Elliot asked still holding her. By this time she was standing.
"There is nothing between us why don't you just get that in your head?!"
"It can't end like this! No Rina. I'll never allow it!" Elliot yelled.
