Acrina woke up with a slight headache. Her head felt like it was screaming and her eyes felt hollow. She couldn't remember what happened last night. Sitting up on the bed, she held her head which felt heavy. Little flashes of what happened started filling her mind.
She remembered drinking and dancing with her friends. She also remembered Elliot offering her alcohol.
Oh no! What did she do?
She tried hard to remember what happened after that but nothing came.
Just then Annalise- Acrina's younger sister barged in.
"All rise and shine ." She screamed, gleaming at her sister making Acrina flinch.
"Can't you knock before entering someone else's room?" Acrina asked her ten years old sister annoyed.
"Oops. My bad. Don't you think it's too early to start frowning? you don't want to give that beautiful face some wrinkles now, do you?" Annalise said smiling.
"Get out of my room!" Acrina yelled at her.
"Okay but mom said to come down for breakfast." She said and ran out.
"What a brat." Acrina muttered under her breath and went to her bathroom to brush her teeth.
When she was done, she washed her face and tied her hair. She Walked quietly down the stairs and saw her parents and sister already sitted at the table.
"Good morning dear. Did you sleep well?" Mrs Livbelle who saw her first asked.
"Good morning Mom and Dad, and yes Mom I slept well." Acrina replied.
"Good morning sweetheart. Lazarus brought you home last night and you seemed really tired as you well fast asleep." Mr Livbelle who was masking his bread with Nutella said.
"Oh.... about that....uhm yeah. I did fall asleep." Acrina said and laughed awkwardly before taking her place at the table.
"Well, how was the party anyway?" Mrs Livbelle asked.
"Interesting, fun and great." Acrina said and took a slice of bread.
"Did you dance all night with your Lovie boo?" Annalise asked playfully.
"Ah ah, very funny Nalise." Acrina said and took a bite from her bread.
"What? I only asked a question. Or maybe you didn't dance with Elliot but actually danced with the new boy, uhn." Annalise said smiling.
"Cut it out Nalise. Stop teasing your sister." Mr Livbelle said ignoring what Annalise said.
"Tell her Dad. She's such a brat." Acrina said which got Annalise flared up.
"I'm not a brat!" She yelled.
"Alright girls, that's enough, now let's us all eat our breakfast in peace." Mrs Livbelle who had been quietly listening the whole time, said.
After breakfast, Mr Livbelle was ready to take Acrina to school. The school bus of Annalise's school already came to pick her.
"Crina hurry up or we'd get stuck in traffic again." Mr Livbelle announced, looking at his golden wristwatch.
"Yes Dad, I'm ready." Acrina said and rushed down the stairs.
