"You should cry more. It eases your heart and make it numb of all the pain." Marcelo who just came said.

"How could he do that to me? I thought he really loved me." Acrina said as more years rushed down her face.

"I'm sorry." Marcelo said.

"No. Don't be. It's not your fault. Actually I should be saying thank you." Acrina said and looked up at him.

"Gosh your eyes are red." Marcelo said and bent front of her. "Here." He said handing her a kerchief.

"Thanks." Acrina sniffed and wiped her face. Her own kerchief was already soaked in tears.

"We should head back. It's 5 minutes till break over." Marcelo said standing up.

"Marcelo."

"Yes?"

"Why did you tell me?" Acrina asked.

"Because you're a friend and I'll never like to see any friend of mine hurting. I thought I should tell you sooner before Elliot plays more trick." Elliot replied and gave her his hand.

Acrina held his and stood up.

"Thank you." She said.

"You're welcome." He smiled.

Mr Mark asked the students to write a story about the field before they headed back to school.

On their way Murrisa and Gabel couldn't help but worry over their dear friend whose eyes were red swollen.

"What happened?" Gabel was the one to ask.

"I'd tell you guys later." Acrina replied.

"Were you crying?" Murrisa asked.

"Hmm." Came Acrina's short reply.

"Poor girl." Gabel said and they both hugged her.

"I'm not that pathetic." Acrina said laughing softly.

"Still." Murrisa said smiling, still hugging her.

When they arrived at the school, it was already 5pm and most of their parents were waiting for them.

Acrina went to her Dad who was busy talking to the school's principal.

When he saw her approaching him, he left the principal and went to her.

"Good evening Dad." Acrina said hugging him.

"Evening dear. Everything went well?" Mr Livbelle asked, disengaging from the hug.

"Yes." Acrina replied. She could only hope her eyes were okay by now else her father won't stop questioning her.

"Okay let's go home." Mr Livbelle said and they both went to the car which was parked right outside the school's gate.
