The party was grand with a lot of eating, drinking and dancing. Acrina sat with her friends looking around for Elliot.
"Your boyfriend still isn't here?" Gabel asked.
"Let me call him again." Acrina said but just then, Elliot came in.
"Oh there he is. Elliot! Over here!" Gabel said waving for Elliot to see them.
"Thank goodness you're here. I was beginning to think you wouldn't show up." Acrina said as she hugged him but Elliot didn't hug her back.
"Well here I am. Are you happy now?" He asked as he took a sit with them.
"Elliot welcome to my Party. Thank you for coming." Marcelo who just came to meet them said. Elliot didn't reply him but took a sip from the drink in front of him.
"Okay then. I'll leave you guys alone." Marcelo said and left.
"I want to go see outside." Gabel said.
"I'll come with you." Murrisa said and they both left.
"Do you guys want sushi? I'll go get us some." Sinthia offered.
"Sure." Elliot and Acrina both replied and Sinthia left.
"Do you want this?" Elliot asked, taking a bottle of beer from a waiter passing by.
"What? You mean the alcohol?" Acrina asked to be sure.
"Yes. It's very nice." Elliot said and poured some in a glass and handed it to her.
"But you know I don't take alcohol." Acrina said.
"I know but can't you make an exception today? Sometimes it's good to try new things." Elliot said convincingly.
"Uhm, okay." Acrina replied and drank the alcohol he gave her.
"How's it?" Marcelo asked.
"It's good hmm." Acrina said and gulped it all up. For sometime she lost herself and kept on taking more cups, all the time Elliot sat, amusingly watching her.
