Down at the dock, Yoongi yelled, "Try it now!"

He and Hosoek pulled some the levers. The port oars went crazy, chopping up and down and doing the wave. Yoongi tried to dodge, but one smacked him in the rear and launched him into the air. He came down screaming and splashed into the bay.

They were still trying to fix all the damages soon as they can. They were trying to hurry but Yoongi was a lot exhausted after using his fire to lift him up in the air. Namjoon didn't meet their eyes after explaining what had happened, guilty that he couldn't stop the bomb from blowing up. They tried to convince him that if it had not been for him they would be standing as ice sculptures along with Khione's collection. Yoongi also babbled on about how Namjoon was so amazing when he had stabbed Khione and how he had reactivated Festus. Namjoon had blushed at that and then Jin had dragged him away to talk alone...or do other private things.Jin carrying Zethes' sword.

By afternoon the ship was repaired and they continued north. They were reaching the House of Hades tomorrow. They all were out on the deck as the ship sailed through the sea.

"So I guess our quest is coming to an end soon." Yoongi said as his hands played with some bolts and screws nervously.

"We still have a battle to fight at camp." Jin said.

"If we make it back in time. Chiron said the enemies were really close." Taehyung sighed unhappily.

"Or if we make it back at all." Hosoek said frowning. Everyone tensed.

"Please don't talk about that." He pleaded. "We will make it back. At this moment all we can do is think positively."

"Do you think I can conjure up lightning inside this temple?" Taehyung asked.

"You'll probably crash down the entire temple on us if you do that." Jin said.

"I don't really have a good feeling about this poison that we are supposed to drink." Hosoek said his eyebrows furrowed. The others winced too.

"Yeah. I really hope Apollo was right about the barley." Jungkook said.

"We have made it this far guys." Namjoon said. "We have fought monsters and overcome all the obstacles thrown into our path. We are going to do this."

"Yeah let's kick the asses of those monsters and punch that Earth goddess in the face." Taehyung yelled as a war cry, making everyone chuckle.

"Let's get it boys" Jin yelled too. They started getting up from they were scattered around the deck to go back inside.

Suddenly, Taehyung gasped. "Guys ..."

He pointed to the northeast horizon. At first, he saw nothing but the sea. Then a streak of darkness shot into the air like black lightning – as if pure night had torn through the daytime.

"I don't see anything," Jin grumbled.

"Me neither," Hosoek said. Yoongi and Namjoon too agreed.

He scanned his friends' faces. Most of them just looked confused. Jungkook was the only other one who seemed to have noticed the black lightning.

"That can't be ..." Jungkook muttered. "Greece is still hundreds of miles away."

The darkness flashed again, momentarily leaching the colour from the horizon.

"You think it's Epirus?" His whole skeleton tingled, the way he felt when he got hit by a thousand volts. He didn't know why he and Taehyung could see the dark flashes. They weren't a child of the Underworld. But it gave him a very bad feeling.

Jungkook nodded. "The House of Hades is open for business." A few seconds later, a rumbling sound washed over them like distant artillery.

"It's begun," Jungkook said.

"What has?" Yoongi asked.

When the next flash happened, Jungkook's voice darkened. "Gaia's final push," he said. "The Doors of Death are working overtime. Her forces are entering the mortal world in mass. We'll never make it. By the time we arrive, there'll be too many monsters to fight."

He set his jaw. "We'll defeat them. And we'll make it there fast. Can you give us the speed we need?" He turned to Yoongi

Yoongi shot a crooked grin. "I still got a few tricks up my sleeves!"
