*Genes POV*
Noah texted me last night asking if he could stay at mine, alarm bells instantly started ringing as he was fast asleep when Lennon phoned me around 9pm and told me to come home and when Noah's asleep. He's asleep until morning so for him to be texting me at like 10:30pm was peculiar. But nonetheless I said yes and he arrived within 5 minutes with a backpack and desponded eyes, I let him in without much hesitation and gestured to the kitchen but he just shook his head and instead we went straight upstairs to my bedroom, I had so many queries but it was clear he was in no mood to talk, it was as if he was going to burst into tears at any given moment, He reminded me of myself when Alyssa cheated on me so I decided just to give him a quick kiss and we changed and went straight to bed, legs intertwined and a calm atmosphere consisting of nothing but our breathing and the muffled noises of what the world had to offer coming through my open window, I lay my head on his chest and let myself fall into a peaceful sleep listening to the rhythmic beat of his heart.
