It's only 9 in the morning but I'm already stuck in an awkward situation. Bakit ba ang aga ko pa din naggising ngayong araw?! Sa sobrang awkward wala akong naggawa kundi maupo sa upuan katapat ni ate Tiffany dito sa dining table. Kami lang dalawa. 

She's quietly eating her breakfast. A combination of French toast and slices of fruits. I think she's trying to ignore me as much as she could. Binalewala ko na lang din siya at inumpisahang inumin ang kape ko. This is one of those times na hinihiling kong mangbulabog si ate Summer para mabasag yung awkward atmosphere. I hate this kind of moments. 

I bit my lip and was about to stand up when ate Tiffany uttered my name.

"Beverly" she said but did not even looked at me. 

Instead of answering back, I just stopped right on my track at inintay ang sasabihin niya.

"Why aren't you at school? I heard may College graduation ball mamayang gabi" sabi niya habang inaayos ang pinagkainan niya.

"It's not my thing" I simply answered. 

Nagsimula na akong maglakad papunta sa lababo para hugasan ang mug ko pero napatigil ako dahil sa sinabi niya.

"Did you know that Andrei was my grad ball partner?" tanong niya na ay halong pagmamayabang.

I smirked.

"I know. He already told me about how no one wants to be your partner that time" I said and faced her.

I want to take a picture of her reaction and frame it. Nakakunot ang noo niya and she's biting her lip. I can feel her frustration. It almost made me laugh.

"Ah talaga ba? So at least I had my moment with him. Before you even met him, I knew him first
 she smirked.

I rolled my eyes and gave her a sarcastic laugh.

"Ate, I was not aware na competition pala 'to? Award ba si Andrei? Ayoko ng competition lalo na at kita na natin kung sino ang panalo sa huli." sagot ko sa kanya.

"Do you even really like him?" she squinted her eyes at me.

"Wala ako sa mood for your deep talks, ate. If you want , you can invite me for girl talks later sa kwarto mo since I am free tonight. Isama na rin natin si ate Summer." I sarcastically said. 

"I'm just making sure. Concern lang ako kay Andrei kasi baka lolokohin mo lang siya or you just want him for yourself because he's someone you can easily take away from me." mayabang niyang pagkakasabi.

"What? Why would I want to take him away from you?" kunot noo kong tanong sa kanya.

"Kasi wala ka namang mapapala sa pamilyang 'to because you are such a big outsider. You want something for once in your life na sayo naman mapupunta at hindi sakin or kay Summer" 

My face automatically went to a neutral expression after she said her crazy statement.

"Are you fcking kidding me right now?" I sighed and rolled my eyes.

"Totoo naman diba? You have always been so insecure with the fact that you have nothing. So now you found someone who is willing to devote his time and affection to you without a doubt. Ginagamit mo lang si Andrei to say you have someone especially someone who I have been wanting since college" 

I seriously don't have time for this so I turned my back on her. I was a few steps away from her when she started spouting stupid rants again.

"Hindi ko maintindihan si Dad why he had to keep you and not just let mom's relatives be the one to deal with your shits. I honestly don't think you have the capability to love someone even si Andrei. Why do yo---"
