Happy Halloween Month! (or happy October if you don't celebrate Halloween)

Imagine sitting at the table with your comfort character, pumpkins and carving knifes in front of you. You start pulling the pumpkin insides (guts? anyone else call them pumpkin guts?) and as always, end up a lot messier than you hoped to be. You comfort character stays maddeningly clean through the whole process. As revenge you *may* throw a small handful of pumpkin guts at your comfort character. Maybe.
You and your comfort character hide your designs from each other so you can have a surprise when the pumpkin carving is over. It takes forever, but you finally have a design you're happy with. You both show each other your pumpkin masterpieces, laughing about the errors and the silliness. You and your comfort character take your pumpkins outside, put candles in them, and watch them light up very spookily. It's the perfect start of your fall season.
