Clan - PoolClan (One of my fan clans. They live in an arid dessert/grassland environment. PoolClan is named as such because its territory is rich with springs and streams. This is a huge advantage, but PoolClan also has the smallest territory in the Clans because of the other three constantly pushing on their borders.)
interesting! although, if poolclan's territory is a arid dessert/grassland area, i'd imagine there isn't many springs and streams. i can understand in grassland, there may be marshes, but i can't really imagine springs in dessert or grassland.

appearance || Dusk is a black melanistic Bengal cat. He has a lightly dappled pelt. His long, thin tail has ring-like markings on it. His face and snout are seemingly delicate and feminine, due to their angular shape and his markings accentuating it. He has short fur, like most PoolClan cats, and it's glossy and sleek. He doesn't like it messy or overly fluffy, so he's constantly splashing in the shallows of the streams or using plants like watermint to slick it back down. His eyes are pale green with golden tones.
ooh, i love bengal cats!! he sounds very pretty, and is quite realistic! this isn't much about the appearance, but i'm wondering, since watermint's a rather important herb (used for bellyaches) do his medicine cats just allow him to use it to slick down his fur? or perhaps, since there's so much water, there's plenty of watermint!
body type || Average weight (for a PoolClan cat, a relatively well-fed Clan), and a bit taller than usual. He's not very muscular in appearance, but this is deceptive for he's actually quite strong from his training in the Place Of Storms and from the gifts given to him in his nine-lives ceremony. He moves in a way that shows off his sleek PoolClan physique, graceful and refined yet poised and ready to strike, like a python. It gives him the appearance of a natural leader.
voice || He sounds fancy, posh, and a bit pretentious, and has a mild Deep Southern accent. (these cats live in the america southwest so i figured it was appropriate)

personality || Dusk, above all, is a perfectionist, always wanting things to be to his liking. If he can't be perfect, why should he bother? His second quality is that he seeks peace. This can come in all forms: he likes his peace and quiet in everyday life, he likes having peace of mind and keeping his things organized, and he abhors fighting between the Clans- or anyone, really. Dusk views the other Clans as equals, unlike some other cats in his Clan, including his former mentor. This contributes to his leadership skills. He is, however, very pretentious. This might come from him being the son of former deputy Rippleshine, but it's mostly his natural personality. Some cats are put off by this, as well as his habits towards perfectionism. So, although he always means well in diplomacy, his efforts don't always land correctly. Dusk can also be very stubborn, especially when he wants perfection in the day-to-day lives of his Clanmates. He doesn't like chaos or disruption even in their smallest forms. However, his stubbornness also manifests itself in his loyalty, one of his strongest traits. If you're his friend, he'll be loyal to you to your dying day. However, towards foes... Dusk can hold grudges for even longer.
that's an amazing personality!! duskstar sounds like a really well-balanced cat! i do have just the tiniest of points, though! okay, so first, i don't really know if i fully understand the word 'pretentious' (had to google it) so let me know if some of my info is incorrect! but to my understanding, the word means trying to impress someone(s) by being all fancy or something, whereas you aren't actually fancy. so, i think that in order for someone to have the mindset that being, for example, very fancy impresses others, then they'd also think that being fancy is impressive. but then he also views every other cat as equals. i think those two are a tad conflicting, as in my opinion, he might think higher of "fancy" cats. but i dunno, maybe i'm completely off; it's just a thought i had!
