New beginnings

Chapter 18

My moms ashes were ready. I went back in and grabbed the box. I went back to the car. I have no idea what to do with them. It's almost Halloween and I'm kinda scared that she's going to come back and haunt me. I brought her home and went into my room. I put her in the back of my closet. I laid down onto my bed and spread my arms out. I grabbed my phone and texted Derek

I'm home now. Moms somewhere safe. You can come back over whenever

I texted

I got up and went into the bathroom. I took a shower and dried off. I wrapped my body and hair into a towel. I laid back onto bed and ended up falling asleep. I woke up to a phone call.

"Hello" I said groggily

"Hey were you sleeping" he asked

"Yeah" I said

"Oh sorry. I'm coming home would you like me to pick anything up" he asked

"Burger King. I really want some onion rings" I said

"Okay" he smiled through the phone

"I'll see you in a little bit" he said

I hung up the phone and couldn't go back to sleep. I started reading a Penelope Douglass book. I had so many. They are really good.

30 minutes later

Derek walked into the room

"Hey the kids are in their rooms" he smiled walking over to the bed. 

I put my book down and he gave me a drink, burger, and onion rings

"Thanks" I smiled

He sat on the edge of the bed next to me.

"How are you feeling from today" he asked eating his burger

"Better. I didn't cry much" I said

"You need to cry" he said

"I can't. I did when I was talking to her but everything came back to me especially about my childhood" I said

10 minutes later

We were done with our food and Derek brought the food downstairs to throw away. I went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I took my hair out of my towel and styled it. I let my towel drop as the bathroom door opened. I covered myself with my hands and he started smiling.

"You're beautiful" he said walking behind me.

He wrapped his arms around my stomach and kissed my shoulder as we looked into the mirror. I turned around and took my hands away. I grabbed his tie and looked up at him. I brought him into me and attacked his lips. We moaned into each other's mouth. He lifted me up and sat me onto the counter. I took his shirt off and he held me up as I ran my hands down his chest to his belt. He brought me over to the bed and laid me onto it. He took his pants and boxers up. He climbed onto of me and wrapped his arms around my back as I wrapped my legs around his waist. He slid into me and we both moaned. He held me down and I held onto the headboard as he thrusted into me

"Meredith oh you feel so good" he said

I lifted my legs up and he went deeper into me. It started hurting but in a good way. My mouth opened as i took in this amazing sensation. I thrusted my head back and grabbed tighter onto the headboard. I kept moaning. I finished and he finished inside of me as he let me ride this out. He pulled out of me and laid next to me. We were both out of breath.

"That was amazing" I said trying to catch my breath

"You're really good at what you do" he smiled

We fell asleep. I woke up the next morning and looked at the back of his head. I moved a little. He turned around to look at me and started kissing my lips. He pushed me over gently with his lips against mine. He climbed on top of me and deepened the kiss. I kissed him as I tugged onto the back of his black tresses. He started moaning into my mouth. The kissing noises and moaning started getting louder. They echoed through this room. It sounded amazing. I was so turned on. My hands were on his chest. The blanket was wrapped around his back and he covered me. He ran his hands through the back of my hair and brought it down to my cheek as he caressed it and I moved with him. He moved his hand down my body as he slipped his tongue down my throat. He was so warm. I moaned into his mouth. My phone started ringing. We both looked at it.  He grabbed my phone and handed it to me. I answered it and he started kissing my neck. He wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me close to him.

"Hello" I said as he moved to the front of my neck.

"Dr. Grey we need you to come back down to the hospital. It's your attendings patient" a nurse said

"Yeah I'll be right there" I said

He sighed and I sighed with him. He looked at me and I kissed his lips.

"It's our patient" I said

His pager started going off. He grabbed it and put it onto silent.

"It's Johnathan his bleed came back" he said

We quickly got up and I grabbed scrubs that I had. I put them on. Derek grabbed an extra pair that he had and put them on. We left the house and drove to the hospital. We texted the kids while we drove here. We ran into the hospital and ran up to Johnathans room. He was seizing. His rate rate started to go down

"We need a crash cart in here. STAT" he yelled

A nurse brought the cart in. He started rubbing the defibrillators together

"Charge to 200. Clear" he said shocking the patient

Nothing

"Clear" he said

He did it 4 more times

"Damn it" he said putting the defibrillator down.

"Time of death 09:18" he said

We left the room. I knew that this was going to be a bad day for him because Johnathan was 15 and that's how old Anna is.

"I have to call the parents. Can you be there when they find out the cause of death" he asked

"Do you want me to talk to the parents with you" I said

"No just find out the cause of death" he said

"Okay" I said walking away

Remember when they broke up and Mer ran into him. Cubby or car😭😭 anyways an idea 😏
