Chapter 46

The next day we took Neve to the doctors. They gave her some more medicine that's supposed to help because she hasn't been able to sleep without waking up a second later and crying. We brought her home and I brought her upstairs. Derek was downstairs with Nate. I put Neve into her crib and went back downstairs

"Hey I'm going to take Nate to grab some toys for the both of them to get him out of the house" he said

"Okay that's fine. I'm going to go flirt with guys at the bar" I smiled as he picked Nathan up

"Yeah whatever" he smiled

"Mmhm" I smiled

"While if you leave this house then you'll be punished. Right into time out. I'll lock you in handcuffs if that's what it'll take. Coke on Nate" he said walking away

"Wait" I said

Derek turned around with Nate around his waist. I walked over to them

"Bye guys" I said kissing Nate's cheek

I went to Derek and kissed his lips. I started pulling away and he wrapped his hand around my waist. He pulled me in to kiss him more. I pulled back and put my hand onto his chest

"Bye guys" I blushed

"Wow" he smirked turning around

He left the house and I shut the door behind him. I went over to the kitchen and poured a glass of wine. I ordered pizza and sat on the couch. I turned on After We Fall. I started watching and wow that's straight up porn. I love when guys moan and I can literally feel it through the screen. The pizza finally came and I grabbed it. I brought the box over to the couch and started eating it while I sipped my wine. I heard Neve cry. She hasn't even gotten 2 hours of sleep yet. I put the box and glass down. I paused the movie. I got up and went upstairs. I went to the twins room and picked her up. I held her in my arms and she finally fell asleep. I gently laid her back down and pulled the blanket over her. I left the room and went into my room. I took a nice warm shower. I got out and the bathroom was steaming. I dried off and brushed my hair. I grabbed my silky red robe and put it onto me. I wrapped it around my body. I left the bathroom and laid in bed. I pulled the covers over me and went onto my phone. I really want to get into the hot tub outside. I'm freezing and I don't know why. Honestly I might have chills from this sickness that Neve has. I took a nap and woke up a little later as I heard voices coming from downstairs. I got up and left the room. I checked on Neve. She was still asleep. I started walking downstairs and looked over at the kitchen. Derek and mark were in there drinking beer. Nathan was walking around with his hot wheel car.

"Hey guys" I said

They both looked at me and Derek smiled

"Hey Mer how was your sleep" he smiled

"Good" I said

"Well I should get going. Thanks for the pizza Meredith" mark said grabbing a piece of pizza and walking to the door

"We'll deal with it tomorrow" Derek said as mark opened the door

"Yep we will" mark said

He left

"Want a beer" Derek asked

"Yeah" I said

He grabbed one from the fridge and opened it. I walked over to him and grabbed the beer. I drank some

"He was really good for me today" he said looking at Nathan

"He's a good little boy" I said

"How was Neve" he asked
