New beginnings

Chapter 39

Derek and I spent the morning reading through the journals. We stopped and took a break. We fed the twins and put them back into their cribs. We left and went downstairs.

"So we should invite Amelia over so that she can help us on this" he said

"Yeah we can have our own lab and everything when we go back to the hospital. I would like Amelias opinion in this too" I said

He texted her and we went into my moms den. We opened all the files.

2 hours later

I went up and fed the twins. I dressed them up in blue and green onesies. They are so cute ahhh. I brought them downstairs and put them into there baby carriers. Amelia was working on the Alzheimer's work. Derek came over and grabbed my coat and 2 baby coats. He wrapped a coat around me and put the baby ones onto the twins.

"Mer it's cold outside. They need there coats" he said putting his coat on

"I know that. I was going to get it in a minute" I said

"Sorry" he said

"Do you think I'm a bad mother" I said opening the door

I walked out and he followed me.

"No you're a great mother. I'm sorry that I made you feel that way" he said

He opened the passenger side of the door of my Tesla. It was snowing out here. I put the kids into the car and buckled them into there car seats. I went into the drivers seat and started the car. Derek went into the passenger seat. The car got warm and he looked at me.

"Where are we going" he asked buckling his seatbelt

"How's the house coming along" I asked

"The foundation for the house is done. The walls aren't up yet" he said

"I'm going there" I said

"Are you sure. Mark, Jackson, and Owen are there putting the walls up" he asked

"Yeah I'm sure" I said

I pulled out of the driveway. I drove to the land and saw the house. It's beautiful so far.

"I didn't want you to see it but it's not really done yet so it's fine" he said

Derek and I got out of the car. I set the mode on the Tesla so the kids could stay inside. We went over to the guys and I grabbed a hot chocolate that they had. I drank some and we all talked.

3 hours later

Derek and I went to the car. We went and fed the twins in between breaks. Well I didn't really do anything. I just wanted to talk.

"Everything's looking amazing" I said

"Wait until you see the furniture. I already ordered it and put it into a storage unit. The twins nursery is going to be insane. My decorator is coming in i'd say about a month, when it's done, hopefully" he smiled

"Yeah I can't wait" I said

We drove to subway and grabbed a couple of subs. I was craving them and I don't know why. It's probably because my periods going to start soon. We ate in the car and drove home. We walked inside and brought a sub to Amelia. I brought the twins upstairs and changed them. I put them into their cribs and waited until they went to sleep. I went downstairs and went over to Amelia. She was looking at the chemical imbalance with the temporary cure which could make it temporary. We found out that the medicine is working but it slowly leaving the body which will make the patient have Alzheimer's again sooner or later. Amelia finished and she went home. Derek and I took a break from this. Most of the stuff is still at the hospital but we still have enough research to work on here. I cleaned the house up and pumped. I put some breastmilk into the freezer.

"Hey what is that" he asked

"Breastmilk. I'm leaking a lot" i said

"Can I taste it" he asked

"What" I smiled

"Could I try some" he smiled

"Uh yeah sure" I smiled

I grabbed some breast milk and poured a little of it into a cup. I put the rest back into the freezer. He took a drink and put the cup back down. He made a face then he realized that it was good.

"Damn that's sweet" he smiled

I started laughing

"I wish your mom could see this" I laughed

"I do too, weirdly" he laughed

"Hey I mean it's not that bad" I said

"It's not at all it's pretty good honestly. I wouldn't drink it again but I'm not mad" he said

"Hey you know what. The kids are asleep"  he smiled grabbing my hand

He rubbed the top of my hand

"Derek" I laughed

"Mmhm" he smiled leaning in

He put his hands onto my cheeks and slowly kissed my lips. We moaned into each other's mouths. He picked me up and I held onto him. He brought me upstairs and laid me onto the bed. We took each other's clothes off. He put a condom on and thrusted into me. I winced as he went faster.

"Do you want me to slow down" he asked

"Mmmhm" I said

He slowed his movements and wrapped his arms around my back as he thrusted. He slowly went faster

"Is this okay" he whispered bringing his hand to my ass as he squeezed and went deeper inside of me

"Mmhm" I whispered

He went faster and I could feel myself about to finished. Someone started calling me and I put it on silent. I gripped tightly onto the sheets. I arched my back and moaned loudly as I released. He finished and let me ride it out. He pulled out of me and laid next to me. He grabbed my hand and we caught our breaths. We were sweating. I grabbed my phone and checked who called me. I had a couple of missed calls from Lexie.

"It was Lexie" I sighed putting the phone down

"We'll call her back" he smiled

"I will later" I said cuddling up to Derek

He held me close to him and kissed the top of my head.

Ima make another story and Mer has a twin. I was thinking Derek would too but I might make Amelia and Derek twins or sum like that. Mer and Addison date for a while then they break up. Amelia dates Addy. Mer finds derek and he doesn't want to 'hurt her' etc 😏
