Derek has been going back and forth between me and the twins. He hasn't left the hospital. Today was the day that I can go home but the twins are still in the nicu. I went to look at them for the first time. I held there tiny little hands. They were so adorable. They both have Derek's piercing blue eyes. They've barely opened there eyes but they are gorgeous.
"I don't want to leave" I said
"I know but you have to be on bedrest for a little longer" he said
We left the hospital and drove home. He helped me inside
"I miss my babies" I said
"I know Mer but think about them being as healthy as ever in a couple of weeks and coming home to us" he smiled
He brought me upstairs and helped me put my pajamas on. I laid in bed
"You need to eat" he said
"I don't want to" I sighed
"I know but you need to get better for all of us" he said pecking my lips.
He sat at the edge of the bed and held my hand.
2 months later
We were finally able to take the twins home. We have visited them every single day. I walked inside and Derek brought the twins inside. He sat there carriers down with them in it. They both have pink blankets around them and hats on because it was cold outside. Nathan has black hair and Neve has blonde. They are little cuties and I love them so much.
"I'm going to make some lunch. Do you want a sandwich" he asked
"Sure" I said
He went over to the kitchen and made sandwiches. He put grapes and chips next to them. He gave me a plate and glass of water. I sat down and put the chips into my sandwich because the crunch was good. We finished and went over to the twins. He picked them up and brought him upstairs. I went up with him. He put them into their cribs. They were sound asleep.
"They are going to be a handful" I smiled
1 week later
Derek's POV
I took the twins out for the day so that Mer could rest. It was hard bringing them without her. I went to the store and grabbed some baby stuff. I got a bunch of diapers. Twins and diapers is a nightmare. I have barely had any sleep but I thought that if Mer could be rested then she'd take them and let me have sleep. The twins were in there stroller and I walked around the outside stores and went down the sidewalk to the beach. I went to a jewelry store and bought a pair of earrings for Mer. They were beautiful diamond earrings. I really want Neve to get her ears pierced but I'll wait till they are both older and if they want to then I'll let them. I bought some Gucci and went to my car. I put the bags inside and went to a seafood restaurant on the beach. I walked in and went to a table. The twins were in there stroller next to me. I made sure that they were comfortable. They were still sleeping. The waitress came over
"Hi what would you-" she said and noticed the twins
"Oh they are so adorable" she smiled
"Yeah I'm giving my wife the day to herself" I said
"Good um what can I get for you" she asked
"Can I get the seafood boil and a coke please" I said
"Of course" she smiled taking my menu
She left and Nathan started waking up. I grabbed him and held him in my arms
"Hey sweetie" I smiled kissing his head
He looked up at me and smiled. I took a picture of him. I called Mer and held the phone to my ear.
"Hey how are you guys" she said
"We're doing perfectly fine. How are you my beautiful wife" I smiled
"I just got my hair done" she smiled
"Oh really" I smiled
"Yeah" she laughed
"We're going to come home soon because they haven't eaten in 2 hours" I said
"Okay I'll be home soon. I love you" she smiled
"I love you too" I smiled
I hung up and the waitress brought my drink over. A bunch of workers started coming over.
"They are so cute" a woman said
Babies are straight women magnets. They talked with me for awhile and left. My food was brought out and I put Nathan back into his stroller. I ate and finished. I paid and took the kids to the car. I put them into their car seats and I got into the drivers seat. I drove home and grabbed the car seats. I brought them to the front door and unlocked it. I brought them in. Mer was sitting on the couch
"Hi baby" she said getting up
"Hi" I said
She walked over to me. She had gorgeous brown hair
"Your hairs beautiful" I said
"Thanks" she smiled
"A bunch of women were flirting with me because of them. I was saying that my wife was at home and I was taking them for the day. It made it worse" I laughed
"Everyone wants a piece of you" she smiled
"Mmhm" I smirked
Meredith's POV
Derek and I haven't had sex since the babies were born. I missed the connection. I missed the talks after. Everything. He doesn't know what I have under my clothes
"I got you something one sec" he said leaving the house
He came back a couple minutes later with bags. He grabbed something
"Open it" he said
I grabbed it and opened it.
"These are beautiful" I said looking at the earrings
"It matches that red dress you look stunning in. The silky one" he smiled
"Take my shirt off" I said
"What" I asked confused
I walked in front of him and grabbed his hand. I put it onto my waistband.
"Take. My. Shirt. Off" I said
He slowly lifted my shirt off and put held it
"Fuck Mer" he said looking me up and down
I have a black lace lingerie body suit on. He unbuttoned my pants and leaned into me. I slowly backed up and he let go of me.
"Put them to bed" I smirked
"Yes ma'am" he smiled grabbing their carriers
He brought them upstairs and I took my pants off. I grabbed a box of glow in the dark condoms.
