O N E | WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING DUMB TO DO

♕ ♔♕ ♔♕

Usually, I made wise decisions. I ate vegetables, sometimes, I played by the rules, and I'm mostly kind to the people that piss me off. I stray away from tasks that seem dangerous or dumb. According to my mother, it ruined any chance I had at becoming something high in society and people at the hospital would talk. Of course, I told her that her theory was ridiculous, but everyone knows mother knows best. Throughout my childhood, I was labeled as goody two-shoes or even in high school as a snob. While everyone got pregnant or kicked out of college, I was soaring high.

Well, at least I thought so.

At least until I went to Vegas.

Just hearing the name gave a bad taste in my mouth. Vegas screamed everything I pushed myself away from; dangerous, stupid, and full of mistakes. Unfortunately, it didn't keep me far enough away.

"It'll be fun, Anna." My best friend, Charlie insisted the night before. "You need to let go and start having fun." We just finished our last final for our junior year and Charlie was over the moon. Despite my arguing, Charlie packed up my bag and after our final, we drove far away from our apartment to Sin City.

The whole drive I tried convincing her it was a bad idea. Realistically, it was. Two college girls alone in Vegas? Where was the logic in that? Charlie, however, didn't get a shit because she had booked us a nice hotel and we were drinking before we knew our way around the hotel.

That was the first mistake.

The second was going to a club with Charlie. At the moment, that's all I could remember.

Which leads me to now.

I have no idea where I am. Am I still in the hotel? I slowly widened my eyes and tried to look around the hotel room. It didn't look anything like mine. This room looked more masculine; dark colors surrounded the room but modernly decorated. Clutching the light grey comforter, I silently prayed to myself. Looking ahead at myself in the mirror, I grimaced at my appearance. Anna, what the fuck? Narrowing my eyes, I could see the lump of someone else next to me. Freezing, I held my breath and looked at the person next to me. The muscular body warmed my own but I couldn't dare to look. Finally gaining the courage, I looked over at the person next to me.

Back towards me, I only got a view of his messy short dark hair. Gulping, I took a closer look at his hair.

Sex hair!

Really, Anna?

Anna, did you have sex with a stranger?

Panicking, I peeked under the comforter to see I was still wearing my lacy underwear and thong-good choice. It only last a moment before I felt an uncomfortable soreness throughout my body. Pressing my hands to my face I quickly peered at the man next to me.

Okay, Anna, just look at him.

Holding my breath, I carefully leaned over to look at the man. Starting to pull from his sleep, he rolled over in bed and scrunched his face up in discomfort. Fluttering his eyes open, I felt my heart drop when I noticed those familiar pair of blue eyes.

Stunned, I covered my mouth in fear of screaming. His eyes widened and he flew from bed, tangling in the sheets and falling off. Landing with a loud thud, he flew up from the floor and stared at me in shock.
