When a picture surfaces of Hollywood's untouchable star, Logan Shawn, kissing a girl for the first time, both of their lives go down the rabbit hole.
Logan Shawn has never been seen with a girl. Having been in the public spotlight for half of his life, no one knows if there ever was a girl. Just as people begin to accept the possibility that he is gay, a picture of him kissing a girl at a club surfaces all over social media. Who is this girl? And how did she do the impossible?
Kate DaLaquor is the heiress to her father's multi-million dollar company. Before she takes over, Kate makes a deal with her papa. Two years. Two years to travel wherever she wants to go, dance, and party to her heart's content. When it was over, she would go back to France and run the business, as well as the dark part that comes with it. A year into this deal, Kate is enjoying her freedom, moving through every major city in the world, occasionally teaching dance to little kids. One night, Kate finds herself dancing at a club in downtown New York. After kissing a random stranger she assumed she would never see again, Kate finds herself in the middle of a classic celebrity scandal, staged by Logan's managers. Pretend to date Hollywood's untouchable they said. How hard could that be? Very hard apparently.

"Well, we did some research on you, Kate DeLaquor, and it seems that your visa has expired for a few months now. Imagine the negative effect this will have on your future company if this word gets out to Paris huh?" Kate froze. That was not the way she wanted to start in her new role.
"Fine. I'll pretend to be his girlfriend. But it has to be over in less than six months. Otherwise, I tell the world just how untouchable their star really is."

But Kate has more at stake than they realize. A family secret that goes back many generations. A secret that has kept everyone at arm's length for most of her life. No one wants to make an enemy out of the future French mafia queen after all.
No one would dare touch her for fear of angering the Mafia King. No one who knows at least. But what about those who don't? Will they suffer Papa's wrath? Or hers?
