well this isn't good.

'SAIKI I THINK HE KNOWS! [L/N] IS ASKING IF I HAVE TELEPATHY HELP!'

i'm no where near wherever they are. fun fact: when it comes to telepathy, people's inner voices sound quieter the farther they are from me. because of this i didn't notice Toritsuka's cries for help at first.

"what are you talking about?"

considering Toritsuka is mentally screaming right now he managed to get my attention. if he wasn't i wouldn't of noticed.

'HE JUST ASKED IF I HAD TELEPATHY. GET ME OUT OF THIS SAIKI!'

good grief. these two are both pains in my side. of course Toritsuka won't calm down. meaning i can't hear [L/n]'s thoughts over Toritsuka's yelling.

"fine where are you? i'm coming." i stood up and exited the cafeteria. no one at the table seemed to notice which is good.

'WE'RE IN THE LIBRARY HURRY!' why are they in the library? i guess it is fairly reserved. i'm sure it's fine, Toritsuka tends to do this. he overreacts a lot.

i decided to hide in the bathroom for a minute and use my clairvoyance. Toritsuka looked like he was about to shatter. this isn't good at all.

Toritsuka could spill any minute but if i show up it might look suspicious. "o-oh uhh. . .we were just texting under the table! i-uhh-said something that pissed him off." you idiot.

'his phone was on the table while we were tutoring. now that i think about it i probably would've heard if Toritsuka was kicking him like Saiki said.'

'HE'S LOOKING AT ME LIKE I'M STUPID! WHAT DO I SAY?' this is your own fault.

"that's because you are stupid."

'NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO DEMEAN ME I NEED HELP.' fine i'll help. i stood up and left the bathroom, focusing on their thoughts.

'if i was right about telepathy that means they're both lying to protect whoever has it. but if it's not Toritsuka.' this is bad. i'm trying to have a normal life, if anyone else finds out it could get out of hand. i only trust Toritsuka because i have to.

i panicked a little and teleported into the library. nobody but Toritsuka seemed to notice.

last time i was near [L/n] without him knowing he figured it out so i'm using my invisibility power just in case.

'DON'T JUST STAND THERE HE'LL SEE YOU!'

"i'm invisible. now calm down before you make it worse." it's annoying that Toritsuka can still see me when i'm invisible. it's not exactly helpful.

"so you guys were texting under the table?" [L/n] clarified.

'what is Toritsuka staring at? he looks so scared.' he is. quit scaring him. Toritsuka nodded his head.

"but Saiki said you were kicking him or something like that." Toritsuka tensed up in response.

in retrospect i should have told Toritsuka my excuse so this wouldn't happen. but i didn't expect [L/n] to suddenly start playing detective so i never told him.

"oh d-did he?" 'SAIKI. SAIKI WHAT DO I SAY?!' what a pain these two are.

"you got yourself into this. i'm just here to make sure you don't tell him."

"he probably didn't want you to get mad at him for t-texting me! he did have the answer sheet after all, it would seem suspicious!" [L/n] nodded in response.

"that does makes sense." he thought for a minute. 'i really don't want to interrogate him but i don't think i have a choice if he's not gonna be honest with me.'  "uhh Toritsuka?"

well here it comes. you're on your own bud. "y-yeah?"

"your phone was on the table." you could practically hear Toritsuka's spirit break. 'no way that's true right?' it is true. poor Toritsuka, maybe i should intervene.

"n-no it wasn't." he sounded like he had given up. i probably would to, his facade is definitely over now.

"what? yeah it was. you put it on top of the magazines i bought you so you wouldn't forget them remember?"

'uhh Saiki, i can't think of an excuse. i think you have to tell him.' "oh yeah, i forgot about that." Toritsuka said pathetically.

i have to admit i'm at a loss too. i can't even erase his memory. i can only erase one minute of memory per target, meaning i would only be able to erase a small portion of the day. not enough to make him forget the phone on the table. "i can't think of anything either."

'WHAT? SO WE'RE JUST SCREWED?' what do you mean "we're" you're not the telepathic one here. 'WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO SAIKI?'

"why did you lie then? what's going on?"
