i have to admit i'm a little nervous, though nothing too bad can happen when you have a psychic by your side!

i guess i should explain. it's the weekend so i'm hanging out with Saiki!

technically it's a date but a date is just a romantic hangout right?

we decided to meet up at that bakery near my apartment. he really likes that place i don't mind since i like it too.

i got there faster then him, not really a surprise since i live closer, so i stood out front waiting for him.

i know it's a date, even if my brain is still processing the fact Saiki actually has feelings for me it's still a date so i felt pressured to dress at least a little nice. i never really put effort into what i wear so it is a nice change of pace.

it's not anything special though. just jeans and a nice long sleeve shirt but i usually wear a hoodie everywhere so this is fancy compared to my normal outfits.

it is very cold though, i guess it'll be winter soon? oh god i'm thinking about the weather hurry up Saiki i've bored myself to death!!

it took a couple minutes for him to finally turn the corner and walk up to me.

why didn't he just teleport? it'd be easier wouldn't it? "there's people around here, i don't need more people knowing i have powers."

"ooh that makes sense." Saiki is pretty private it makes sense he doesn't wanna stuck out much. "now let's get inside it's cold out here!"

i grabbed his arm and lead him inside.

"it's not that cold." don't you have that pyro-thingy, you can probably warm yourself up if you tried. "pyrokinesis. and that's exactly what i'm doing."

"see! you can't complain if you can keep yourself warm like that!!"

i've learned to be very cautious when speaking out loud about Saiki's powers. having strangers know about that kind of stuff seems annoying so i get why he only tells certain people.

there was a small line so as we waited i continued to hold onto his arm. he didn't seem to mind so i guess it's okay? plus he's warm, it's probably the pyrokinesis.

we got to the counter and got our treats before sitting down at a small table away from others.

he looks so happy eating sweets i can't help but smile.

Saiki got a coffee jello of course and a cherry croissant which i've never been a fan of. And i got a cream cornet and matcha roll.

i noticed how different our tastes are. we did get some things to share, a few cake slices we both wanted to try but besides that our choices were pretty different.

i've never liked cherry anything and Saiki admitted to not being too fond of matcha. though now that i think about it i've never tried those coffee jello things Saiki seems to love so much.

obviously, he could hear my thoughts and looked up from his food at me. "what?"

"you should try it. coffee jelly the best." he pointed the spoon in his hand at the jello. "nah, i'd feel mean stealing your food!"
