*7 weeks later*

"Come on back sweetheart" the nurse said.
I followed her to a room.
"Here. Wipe, then give me a urine sample. I'll be right out here when you finish."
She closed the door. After I was done with my sample I cleaned the cup, washed my hands, & left out of the bathroom.
"Here you go Nurse.....?" I asked
".....Cummings" she answered.
"You can have a seat in room 6."
"Dr. Stevens will be with you shortly." She said.
"Yes ma'am." I nodded
I laid back on the bed & thought of how well everything was working out. I was pregnant. I just needed to get sonogram pictures & I would have my man back. I smiled as I though of Kemani & me raising a baby together. After about 15 minutes a sort of heavy female doctor came in the room. She was beautiful nonetheless.
"Good morning. I'm Dr. Stevens. I understand you believe that you're pregnant."
I nodded.
"Well we have your lab work back. I'll just have a look."
She flips papers.
"Ah. Congratulations Miss Moore. Your pregnancy test was positive. I'm going to send someone in to get blood work from you. We're going to do a Pap smear, & get a look at your baby okay?"
"Okay" I answered.
After all my STD results were negative & we ruled out any abnormalities, I laid on my back in preparation for my sonogram. I was really nervous. She pulled out a bottle.
"This is gonna be cold honey. We didn't get a chance to get it a little warm first."
"Okay." I said.
She squirted it on my belly I flinched. That shit was cold.
"You okay?"
"Yes ma'am." I nodded
She moved the handle thingy around at the lower part of my belly until I saw my baby. I saw a little small circle.
"That's your baby. He or she is very small right now."
I don't know what happened but I began to cry.
"It's okay sweetie. Let it out."
I think I was happy.
"Okay you're about 5 1/2 weeks pregnant. I'm going to schedule you to come back in 4 weeks. Your baby will be able to see on the sonogram by then. Nurse Cummings will give you a information packet at the front desk along with an appointment card."
I nodded, wiping my eyes.
"You married?"
"Engaged." I said proudly.
"Well I bet dad is going to be excited huh?"
"You have no IDEA."

Hey guys. I cant seem to sleep tonight so I updated a small chapter. Hope it was okay. As soon as I started typing I got sleepy. Ugh. Always happens. Hope you enjoyed it.
