Firstly I'd like to say thank you for putting up with me. I've just gotten a new job & I work late nights & I'm always sleepy when I get home! I've been off the past couple days & wanted to bless your news feed with some drama! Hope you guys enjoy it! Love you all.

"Just sign here & the house is all yours." Victoria said.

"Thank you so much." I said.

"No thank you." She replied.

"So we have an appointment to get the carpet installed tomorrow morning. After that we'll steam clean & the house should be ready the day after tomorrow." She explained

"Okay sounds good." Kemani said.

I loved this house. It was 5 bedrooms. There was a den, an office for Kemani & I to both share. There was also a room for the twins to transition into when they're a little older. They still sleep in the same room. Kamari had her own room & there was an extra room for guests right now. When Kae gets older it'll be her room. There was also a pool & patio. A shed & a 4 car garage. I couldn't wait to fix it up the kid's room. I had already ordered paint & wall art for the kids. I was super excited.
"Baby. You ready? We gotta go to Nia's trial hearing remember?" He asked.

"Oh yeah. Here I come." I said

This miscarriage had indeed taken a toll on me. I passed my baby a few weeks ago but I'm still spotting. I had to go ahead & make an appointment to see if I had any of the fetus still inside me. I have seen that happen to many women in my clinic. Unfortunately it made them infertile.

The ride to the court house was long. I was nervous. No matter what happened Kamari was coming to live with us. But for how long? Could she survive without her mom?

We pulled up to the courthouse & got out. I had on some Chanel leggings & a loose white close. I also had on some peep toe heels.

"I'm gonna go park. Meet you inside?" Kemani said

"Okay." I said grabbing my jacket & clutch.

"Excuse me for a minute sexy. What are you doing here alone?" Some random asked.

"My husband is parking the car." I said holding up my hand with my wedding ring.

"He is one lucky man. If he ever mess up please call me." He said handing me his card.

"If he messes up." I said laughing & walking away.

I walked inside the entrance & stood there waiting. I pulled out my phone & began checking my emails. I had to take off work today for this trial.

"Excuse me?" I heard someone say.

I looked up.

"May I help you?" I asked

"Uhh I'm Julian, Nia's younger brother. She showed me your picture & said I could see you to see Mari?" He said.

"Oh hi. I'm Armani. Nice to meet you." I said extending my hand.

"The pleasure is mine. I didn't know she had a brother." I said smiling.

"Well I was in Iraq. I served my time & now I'm just trying to live a normal life. I haven't seen my niece since last year when I came home for Christmas." He said.

"Well she's at school but I'm sure she'd like to see you after." I said smiling.

"Thank you. I don't know how to thank you." He said grabbing my hand.
