Since I had a free day from practice I decided to take Vickie to lunch on her break. I was really digging her & I wanted her to know I was. I hated going to public places because if it wasn't just around the block I had to keep security close by. I haven't really been out since Indiya died. I have an exclusive interview with people magazine coming up soon. It includes a photoshoot with the kids. It's a way to finally speak about what happened. People had their own theories of what went on. Paparazzi has a way of turning shit around & making it bad. I just brushed it off because it wasn't true.

I parked my car outside of the building & Big J followed me inside. Big J isn't always around. Mostly when I'm out of town. He has a wife & expecting a cold very soon so I don't bother him too much. He gets most of his work when football season is in full effect. Since I'm becoming more & more famous I have to have security with me just in case.
I walked inside the office building & was immediately greeted by an older woman.

"Hi welcome to Gomez Reality. How may we assist you sir?" She asked.

"I'm actually looking for Victoria. Is she here?" I asked.

"Yes sir. She's in her office." She said

"Would you please tell her that Mike is here to take her to lunch?" I asked smiling.

"Oh you're Mike?" She asked.

"Yes ma'am. And you are?"

"Tanya Gomez. I'm Vicky's aunt." She said

"Oh my deepest apologies. Nice to meet you." I said taking her hand kissing it.

"Charmer I see. I'll go get her." He said

"Thank you ma'am." I said

A few moments later she came out of the back looking worried.

"What's wrong? Did Carmen's school call?" She asked

"No. I came to take you to lunch." I said

"Awww I'm sorry I can't. I have 3 houses to show. I won't even have time for lunch." She said

"Alright. Well I'll see you tonight?" I asked

"Yeah. I'll call you when I have a free moment." She said kissing my cheek.

"I actually was just about to grab lunch. Would you take an old lady instead." Her aunt asked giggling.

"Of course." I said walking her to my car.

"So how did you meet my niece?" She asked

"I met her at Baskin Robbins. We were both there with our daughters." I said

"You have a child?"

"Actually I have 2." I said proudly.

"Hmm. Is their mother in the picture?" She asked

"Uhh she passed away recently." I said

"I'm so sorry. That was none of my business." She said

"No ma'am. It's fine. I'm sure you're just looking out for Vickie. I'm dreading the day my daughter brings anyone my way." I said chuckling.

"I bet you are. If she takes after you then I know she'll be gorgeous." She said winking.

"Uhh thanks." I said uncomfortably

"Are you okay Michael?" She asked

"Yes I'm fine." I said

"Well I'm stuffed. Would you drop me off back at the office?" She asked
