"You think you're having a miscarriage?" I asked.
"Yes Mike!" She yelled while crying.
"Okay baby let's go to the hospital." I said.
I put Kass down & picked up Indiya to put her in the car.
"Come on Kassidy." I told her.
She waddled to me.
After I put Indiya in the car I buckled both her & Kassidy in before locking the door & grabbing her purse.
Upon arriving at the E.R. I ran in to get someone to bring a wheelchair.
"Listen baby she's gonna go get you checked in. I'm gonna go park the car." I said kissing her forehead.
"No baby please don't go." She cried
"Baby I'll be right back. I'm not gonna leave you." I said.
"Okay. Okay." She said in between sobs.
I found a park & grabbed Kass. When I got back in Indiya was already in the back.
"Excuse me. Indiya Moore's room please?" I asked.
"Umm room 14." She answered
When I got in the room she was laying down on the bed.
She saw me & immediately started back crying.
"Oh baby." She cried.
"It's gonna be okay baby." I said rubbing her belly.
"She's asleep?" She asked looking at Kass.
"Yep. We had an ice cream date." I said smiling.
"Awww really?" She asked smiling.
"Yep." I answered.
The doctor came in the room catching our full attention.
"Hi. I'm Dr. Smith & I'll be taking care of you today. What's going on today Miss Moore?" He asked
Indiya explained what she thought was happening.
"Okay you said you are about 5 months pregnant Miss Moore?" He asked
Indiya nodded.
"Alright Miss Moore. I'm gonna get you to take 2 Tylenol 500mg for pain. I'm sorry but there isn't a big selection of drugs we can give to you being pregnant." He explained.
The nurse will bring then soon.
She nodded.
"Now in about 10-15 minutes your cramping should have eased up. I'm gonna order you blood work to check your hormone levels & of course a urine test to rule out any infections." He explained.
We nodded our heads.
"Okay now we brought you in this room so that we would be able to do a quick sonogram." He said.
"So I'm gonna step out for a few minutes & you undress & put this gown on please." He said.
I laid Kassidy down on the bed beside Indiya. Then I helped Indiya get undressed & put on the hospital gown.
"Baby you can keep your underwear on." I said
"Here's your favorite socks." I said pulling them out of Kass diaper bag.
