"What do you mean that's your sister?" I asked.

"She's my sister Lana. I just found out." He said.

"Ricky you have got to be kidding me!" I yelled.

"Baby I'm telling the truth! You know my mother was a junkie & I was placed in Foster Care until I was 18. Well she had a baby 16 years ago & she was taken away by CPS. She found me because her foster mother & father are abusive." He explained.

"Really?" I asked.

"Really. I didn't tell you because I didn't believe her at first. I needed proof." He explained.

"Well ummm...I sort of met with her foster mother." I said quietly.

"You did what? What the hell Lana?!" He yelled.

"Don't blame me. You should've told me asshole!" I yelled.

"Damnit now I gotta go see if she's okay." He said.

"Can I come? I want to meet her." I said.

"Okay baby." He said.

I went in Korey's room to get him dressed & buckled him in his car seat.

"Alright baby will you grab Korey for me?" I asked.

"Of course baby." He said.

"Hey daddy's lil man. Say DA DA." He said.

"His first words will be Ma Ma." I said.

"You can't get mad at him calling me daddy when you always do." He smirked.

I flipped him off.

"Hey not in front of my son." He joked.

We both laughed.

Its crazy how you meet someone & automatically know they're the one. I met Ricky when I was 14. Now 10 years later we're married & have a beautiful son together. I studied Criminal Justice & work in Clerk of Court's office. Ricky is a Police Officer. He's very loved by the community & he has made no enemies. He has such a gift with the younger crowd he's brought the drug selling way down. He's such a good man.

"Come on baby Korey's locked in." He said interrupting my thoughts.

"Okay." I smiled.

We drove for about 10 minutes & pulled up to an apartment building. We got out & walked into an elevator. When we got to the 5th floor we walked to apartment 521.

He performed a special knock. I guess to let her know it was him. After he finished she slowly opened the door.

It was dark so I still hadn't seen her face. We walked in the apartment & Ricky quickly locked the door & searched the rooms.

She turned the light on. When I finally got a good look at her I couldn't believe it. She was slim, young, & beautiful.

"Jessica this is my wife Lana. Lana this is my little sister Jessica." Ricky said.

She smiled.

"Hi. Its nice to finally meet you." She said.

"You too." I smiled.

"Jessica we have to move you to a new place. Lana found your phone & she called your foster mother." He said.

Her face dropped. You could visibly tell she was scared.
