I woke up seeing bright lights & people surrounding me. Where was I? What happened?
"Rick?" I called my brother.
"Oh thank God!" He yelled.
"Jess we were worried sick about you!" Lana yelled.
"What happened?" I asked.
"You were given the date rape drug. Luckily that young man got you out of that situation before anything could've happened to you." He explained.
"Young man?" I asked.
"This young man." He said moving & revealing who he was talking about.
"Sup Shawty? How you feel?" He asked.
"Khalif? You saved me?" I asked.
"I had to. I couldn't let him do that to you." He said.
"We are eternally grateful for you being there Khalif." Lana said tearing up.
"No problem ma'am." He said.

*24 hours later*
After they observed me for 24 hours I was free to go home. When I got there Rick & Lana had invited all the family over for a bar-b-que. Both my grandma's. Aunt Armani & Uncle Kemani. Uncle Mike & Aunt Indiya. And all of the babies were there. But nothing made my heart flutter like seeing Khalif walk up smiling holding a dozen roses.
"These for me?" I asked.
"Pretty flowers for a pretty lady." He said smiling.
I blushed.
"Its okay shawty. I know you're shy." He said.
After changing I joined everyone else on the patio for food & drinks. About 9PM everything started to die down & Khalif stayed behind to help me clean up. It was only fair since Rick & Lana organized the whole get together.
"Thank you for coming." I said to Khalif.
"Thanks for inviting me." He replied.
"No problem." I said blushing.
"Why you always blushing shawty?" He asked.
"Because you're always saying stuff to make me blush." I replied.
"Nu uh. I just speak the truth." He said.
"No you compliment me. I'm not used to it except from my brother." I said.
"But you are pretty. And you fine shawty. You got a body any dude would die for. Any girl would cry for." He said.
"See. You're doing it again." I said blushing.
"But its true. I've never met anybody so fly." He said.
"Thank you." I said blushing.
"Well we're done. I guess I'll walk you out." I said.
"No it's okay. It's too late for you to be outside." He said.
"Well at least let me show you out." I said.
"Okay cool." He said.
We walked to the front door. He turned to me.
"Well goodnight shawty." He said.
I looked down at his lips. He licked them causing me to shiver. He was so hot.
He grabbed my hands & pulled me to him slowly. My heart was beating a mile a minute.
