Mentor

"Apple juice!" Leah said with a huge smile. Sonna blinked and shook her head. Leah pouted and sat her drink down. "Then what would you name it?"

"Something less weird maybe" she told Leah. "Anyways, whose your mentor for music?"

Leah sighed. "I am not sure. I hope it's not yoongi though."

Sonna's eyes went wide. "Yoongi?! The basketball captain and greatest rapper/ producer ever?!"

Leah rolled her eyes. Yeah it was exciting to have an idol at there school but so WHAT she didn't really care. Sonna of course was all about boys, dating, Video games or food, but she loved Sonna regardless.

"Well when do you have him?" Sonna asked.

"After lunch" Leah sighed deeply.

Rose rushed towards them with a huge smile. Leah was confused as she never seen Rose this happy..actually she took that back. She has seen Rose way more happier then this. Rose was always happy.

"What happened?" Sonna asked raising an eyebrow.

"So you guys all know that the school year is almost over right?!" Rose asked excitedly. Leah and Sonna nodded confused. "Well, there is a dance recruiting thing I found that Jimin is starting, I think it's a dance team or something but it's happening!"

Sonna and Leah looked at each other confused. Rose rolled her eyes then showed them the news on her phone. "It said he'll be recruiting new dancers for his performance!"

"And when is that?" Sonna asked.

Rose put her phone down and said with a pout. "Not until junior year."

"Junior year?!" Leah asked shocked. Rose nodded while sitting down with sadness. "Is he doing something else you could join?"

"Well he is busy so I sort of understand why he wouldn't start it."

"Why junior year though?" Sonna asked. Rose about to answer when the bell rang. Leah frowned and got up. She grabbed her backpack and music notebook while waving to both Rose and Sonna.

Hopefully it's not yoongi she prayed as she made her way to the music room. She stopped short at the door and saw her teacher Mr. Lee who was saying hello to the students coming in.

Leah took a deep breath before waking in. She kept her head low as she sat at her desk and put her backpack on the floor. She opened up her music notes and stared at them. She was nervously waiting for her mentor to walk right through that door.

Mr. Lee looked at Leah and smiled then said to the whole class. "Class! Welcome back! Cannot believe how time flies by so fast! So for your end of the year project and it will be graded, you need to come up with an original piece composed by another person."

The class groaned while Leah looked at Mr. Lee who just smiled and continued saying that they had to have a mentor to help them and that would be there person for the project. Then he started reading off each person's mentors. Leah felt like she was going to throw up as she patient waited.

Finally Mr. Lee got to her. He invited her to come with him and to bring her stuff. She was confused as she got led down a long hallway into a room with a piano and dust everywhere. She blinked and looked at Mr. Lee. Has he gone mad?

"He'll be here soon" he said. Leah nodded while thinking that the mentor being late wasn't a good sign for her.

A few minutes passed by with akward silence when she heard someone say behind her. "I am here Mr. Lee, so sorry I am late!"

Mr. Lee went to the person and Leah turned around and almost fainted. You got to be kidding me! She couldn't believe it. It was yoongi! Ugh! She didn't know why he kept showing up.

Yoongi looked as surprise to see her as she was to see him. Mr. Lee though just smiled brightly at them as they awkwardly looked at each other.

"Well I'll leave you two. Leah you have a talented person by your side for your project and yoongi you have a talented pianist and singer too."

Leah glared at yoongi. Yoongi snickered when Mr. Lee said that about her. Leah was mad. How she hates this man. Just because he was talented didn't mean he had to be cocky about it.
