It was like being with Cecil again:

I don't know why I'm so nervous about seeing Ty again, I just spent the afternoon with him, Mario said maybe because mama will see Ty and say what I don't want to hear, and that's Ty being a replacement for Cecil once mama sees him.

 I minus well tell mama about Ty before he gets here, so it won't be a shock to her once she sees him. Mario said I'm on my own with her and he left my room, I went downstairs, and mama is with Teresa talking about some luncheon she's having next week. Mama, I need to talk to you about something, Teresa excused herself mama looked at me and said please tell her I'm not thinking about going back to New York, because that's out of the question I need to be with family, Savannah is my home especially right now.

Mama, I'm not thinking about going back, but can you remember that I am an adult and can make my own decisions, she said so what did I have to talk to her about. Mama, I met someone and he's taking me out tonight, mama said good I need to move on Cecil is gone, and he would want me to move on with my life.

Mama his name is Tyler Dane, she said she's never heard that name before is he one of us, mama he just moved here and he's an attorney working for the Alexander's. Mama said oh she sees well Cecil was a good man even though he wasn't one of us, mama there are still good people that aren't like us and sometimes it's better that they don't come from money you see what it did to our family. Mama said there's nothing wrong with our family, so tell her about this young man I'm going out with.

Mama he's very nice and he came here for lunch, Mario has already met him.

Oh, really so that's why Brie kept us away from the house, and she liked everything I picked out for her which we have different taste in clothes, I knew something was going on.

Mama Brie did that for me, I wasn't ready for you to see Tyler, but I have to let you see him now, mama gave me a look and asked is he some thug or something because she knows me and other than Cecil I like bad boys. No mama its nothing like that it's just that Tyler is Cecil's brother.

Brother!, Michael you told me that Cecil was an only child, now you tell me this Tyler person is Cecil's brother how can that be?

Mama I told you that Cecil was adopted, and I met Tyler and he told me how his brother was taken from the hospital when they were born, and I found out that there brothers not only that there Identical twins.

Michael are you seeing this Tyler person because he looks like Cecil, son don't do that to yourself Cecil is gone I hope you're not seeing him as Cecil, I don't like this.

Mama I see Tyler for himself, yes he looks like Cecil but he's not him and I know that, but mama I do like Tyler so not another word about it. Mama said she knows me and again Tyler is a replacement for Cecil, mama he's not I swear and once you see him please don't say anything about what we just talked about. Mama said she'll be keeping an eye on me and she's going to have Tyler checked out, I told her I already did and I know all about him.

Mama said  she's still having him checked out, daddy came into the room and said have whom checked out, I told daddy mama will tell him and I left the room and went upstairs. I stopped in Mario's room and told him what mama said, he said did I think mama wouldn't have Tyler checked out, I left his room and went to my room, just wait until the rest of the family sees Ty.

There's a knock on my door, the only one who knocks is Teresa, I said come in she did and said I have company its Sidney. Teresa why didn't he come up?

Michael your mother is talking to him about your new friend, Sidney came into the room and I looked at him the boy has more ass than a female, I left the room.
