Hearing kentrell blow his horn for the umpteenth time I rush out of the house. My grandparents invited me, kentrell and the guys to dinner. More so my grandma did. She really took a liking to them but that's nothing new being that she always welcomes people with open arms.
I lock my doors then walk over to kentrell's black Range Rover seeing no one in the front I get in the passenger seat. "Heyyyy" I smile at kentrell and he chuckles letting smoke ease out his mouth. "Wuddup why you took so long?" He asks as I shut the door.
"I had to clean up my closet after finding this to wear" I explain and he nods. "Your pretty" I hear and jump at the sound of a child's voice and kentrell laughs. I look back seeing three of his sons. "Say dis Draco, K3 and Kacey and y'all dis Angel " kentrell introduces us and I wave at them with a smile then they wave back before I turn around to kentrell.
"What are their real names?" I ask him and he chuckles pulling out of the drive way. "The oldest Kayden and that's Kamari" he says and I smile "awwwww they all start with 'K' I love itttt" I drag and kentrell laughs.
"My mommy got hair like yous" I hear and turn around in my seat seeing it's Kacey. "Your mama has blonde hair?" I ask and he nods "oh okay" I smile at him then turn around. "Oh my gosh my nana is gonna be so happy to see them she loves kids" I say putting on my seatbelt.
"I think all old people do" kentrell says and I gasp looking at him. "First off Mr. Sir my nana is not old she's ver much young" I correct him and he laughs "Aight my bad" he says and I laugh too.
"What made ha wanna invite us ova?" Kentrell asks leaving my gated community and turning onto th main road. "She didn't say. She just wanted y'all to come" I tell him taking my lip gloss out of my purse and applying it to my lips.
"Oh but say I was thinking bout takin Mina to Costa Rica" kentrell says and I nod putting my lip gloss back. "That sounds good" I answer feeling a strange feeling in my chest. He chuckles shaking his head "you'n sound like it was a good idea" he says and I look down at my hands fixing my rings.
"It is a good idea. It'll be a great opportunity to fix your relationship" I say looking up at him and he nods. "Shit been good lately tho" he says and I nod looking out the window.
"Where's the boys?" I ask changing the subject. "I shared tha address wit dem so they gon meet us dere" he tells me and I nod. "Whatchu was doin before I pulled up?" He asks continuing down the road. "Um getting ready what else?" I laugh and he shrugs. "I texted you thirty minutes before I came and you still wasn't ready when I pulled up" he shrugging.
"We'll it takes time to look dis good" I gesture down my body. "You naturally beautiful so yeen have to put on make up. All you had to do is get dressed" he shrugs and I smile at his compliment. "We'll thank you but I like putting on makeup" I say and he nods.
I pull out my phone and as I'm going to my Snapchat I feel him grab my hand holding it. I look over at him and he flashes me a smile and I giggle looking back at my phone. Small gestures like this makes me wish things were different.

Me and kentrell get out the truck and go to the back doors opening them for the boys. I grab Kacey and kentrell let's Kayden out and helps Kamari. I shut the door with my hip securing Kacey on my hip. I feel him rub my hair and I smile at him. "You pretty" he says "awww and your handsome" I tickle his tummy and he bursts into a fit of giggles.
"Yeen say yo people owned a big ass mansion and hella land" kentrell says as me and Kacey walk to the front of the truck. "We'll kentrell when I told you they had a manor that's what I meant" I laugh at him and he nods gawking at my grandparents house.
Soon after the guys pull in and park behind us. Feeling a light tug on the end of my dress I look over to see kentrell pulling it down. "Boy Whatchu doin?" I ask laughingly. "Yo dress too fucking short. Dem my bruddas and all but ion want dem lookin at you like dat" he says and turns back to his kids.
I stare at him for a minute before I hear Kd loud ass. "OH HELL YEAH yo people can take me in at anytime you know I always felt like me and you was connected we might be long lost cousins or SIBLINGSSSSS" he drags coming over to us and I bust out laughing.
"I'm pretty sure I know everyone in my family but I guess you can ask to be adopted" I shrug and his eyes light up. "You so fuckin dumb mane she not serious" three laughs at him with the rest.
"Wuddup angel" ben says coming over and hugging me. "Heyyyy ou you smell good" I tell him and he smirks. "Just for you" he says and we both laugh. "Aight yall I'm ready to eat and y'all wanna talk like we ain't just seen each other let's go" joe says before walking ahead of us.
"Now it'd be funny as fuck if his ass get shot he actin like dese people know us" boomer says to kentrell and they both laugh and I shake my head. We all walk up to the house just as joe knocks on the door. I'm no time the door swings open and standing there is my grandma smiling from ear to ear.
"Oh my you all are finally here!" She squeals before pulling them all into hugs "hi baby" she says to every single one of them before she gets to me and kentrell. She hugs him tightly before pulling away and smiling at him. "Don't you just get even more handsome every day" she says and he smiles big while the rest of them mug her behind her back.
"Thank you I hope you don't mind I brought three of my sons" he says pulling away and she looks down at them then at Kacey and her eyes widen along with her smile. "Oh their so handsome they look just like youuuu" she gushes looking at them "I don't mind at all. Come on children nana alinda has some treats for y'all" she says grabbing Kacey from me and grabbing Kamari and kaydens hands walking off.
"Damn yo own grandma ain't hug you. I know you feel like shit" Kd jokes and I mug him while they all laugh. "I hope all of y'all choke on y'all food. And just so you know it takes the ambulance thirty to thirty five minutes to get here" I smile at them before walking into the house. Leaving their mouths agape.
Loud talking can be heard through out the house and I walk into the kitchen hearing the boys following behind me. Seeing all of my cousins. Some of them live here so I wasn't surprised. All of their eyes widened and I just knew they weren't looking at me.
"YOUNGBOY!!!!" "BEN" "THREE!!!" "BABY JOEEEE" they all run past me and to the guys surrounding them asking for pictures and my girl cousins immediately start to flirt with them. I roll my eyes and walk into the kitchen to join the kids with eating the cookies and other treats I know my grandma baked.
"Papa!!" I squeal running over to him and he chuckles pulling me into a hug. "Heyyy lady bug" he says and I smile missing that nick name. "Where's your friends?" He asks as we pull apart and I point to the dining room. "Getting swarmed and harassed" I say and he laughs.
"Oh really well let me go greet these young men. I have to see who's dealing with you" he says and walks out laughing while I mug him holding back my laugh. I really missed him. Hopefully tonight goes well.
