They’re really making Philip feel the complications for being far from me even though it’s my fault.
My babies are still asleep.
I went to the shore only to find Philip wearing his maong pants. He’s topless. I could see his ripped body glistening in sweats. I noticed a dog tag hanging on his neck. It moves whenever he moved.
His ripped body flexes whenever he raised the ax to chop the wood. I saw a huge sweat running down from his neck, to his chiseled chest and down to his abs.
It’s as if it’s telling me na ‘mainggit ka, hanggang tingin ka lang, ako nakatikim na’.
Owemji! My mind!
Natatawang lumapit ako sa kanya. Natatawa sa sarili ko.
“Hey! It’s so early. Nagsisibak ka na naman.” Pagkuha ko sa atensyon niya.
He stopped chopping and look at me. He then gave off a heart-shattering smile.
“Your Tatay told me to chop woods before he left,” sabi niya.
Napanguso ako. “Si Tatay talaga. Don’t listen to him. He was just making fun of you.”
He brushed his hair backwards making me see his sexy armpit. His biceps flexed.
Nang-iinis talaga, eh!
“I don’t want to disobey your father, mare. He makes fun a lot but he’s still your father. I respect him,” he said. “Besides, he’ll be my father soon.”
Lumapit ako sa kanya. Luminga-linga ako.
Where did I put the towel? Oh! Wala pala akong dalang towel.
“Take a rest, Philip.
I noticed his dog tag again. I caressed it.
“Where did you get this? You’re not used to wearing dog tags or necklaces. Why wearing something like this now?” I asked.
“What? This?” Turo niya sa dog tag.
I nodded.
“Your Kuya gave this to me. He said that I’ll look more handsome if I’ll wear this. And that you’ll get seduced by me.” Nguso niya.
Tumawa ako saka mahinang hinampas ang dibdib niyang sobrang sarap—I mean tigas pala.
Owemji! Pumipilipit na naman ang dila ko.
“Naniwala ka naman kay Kuya. Pero bagay sayo.”
“Well? Are you seduced?” He asked.
Tinampal ko muli ang dibdib niya. Humagikhik ako.
“Hindi naman. Ano lang… parang gusto kitang kainin…”
“What?” He has an amused expression on his face.
