"When we're you planning to tell me you and Pansy talk, now? And when we're you planning to tell me the reason you've been pushing me to talk to him has something to do with some scheme you two are cooking up?"

"Oh, Harry, you finally talked to him? How did it go?"

I didn't do it willingly," he grumbled. "His most recent post had me a bit worried, that was all. Then all the times you've suggested I reached out played the devil on my shoulder and I bloody- ugh. Goddammit."

"Fuck. What happened, exactly?"

"See for yourself." She looked through the messages and cursed. Of course. Of course Draco would do something this stupid. The arse. "I'm gonna get myself a cup of whatever it is you're drinking. But as you can clearly see, I tried, not trying again."

"...fair enough." She dialled Pansy immediately. And precisely three minutes after this, Draco's phone rang. What a bother.

"Pans, I am so far from in the mood, right now-"

"What the fuck did you do, you twat?! I got Harry Potter to talk to you and you just fucked it up like that? You out of your mind, Malfoy?!"

"I never asked for him to talk to me. I don't know why you thought that would help but I don't need anyone's help at all, especially not from the boy I hated for nearly a decade of my life. What did you think bringing him to talk with me would do? I'm Draco fucking Malfoy, you had to have known that was a stupid idea."

"We'll talk about you calling my beautiful brain child stupid later. Where you got the balls, I don't know. Must be cos I'm away. Anywho, you're better than this, Draco. You don't have to believe it. I know. Now text him back and apologise."

"Wh- I'm not going to bloody apologise!"
