Draco didn't waste any time. Once Harry sent him his address, he was at the door. He hadn't realised it was raining but he definitely felt it when he got doused by Mother Nature. Still, lucky for him, Harry had been waiting anxiously on the other side of the door so the moment Draco climbed up the steps and gave a hesitant knock, there he was.

Harry hurried him inside and shut the door, locking it. They both stared at each other for a moment, then Harry cut the eye contact, signaling for Draco to follow him to the couch. "I'm sorry. It's raining- I didn't think- I shouldn't have-"

"Potter?"

"Yes, Draco?"

"Shut up, will you? Although tea and a blanket would be nice, too." Harry nodded, none of his usual texting spunk possible now that they were face-to-face again and disappeared into a room, probably his bedroom. He then returned with a thick duvet and it certainly did help. He rose his gaze after some moments of sinking into the warmth, amused at the way Harry was fidgeting and yet, he couldn't help wishing Harry was more comfortable and confident around him. There went his mind again, always in constant conflict with itself.

"Your place is... Certainly interesting. Though it has the look of a home with an actual family." He noticed Harry cringe slightly at the last word and quickly moved on. "Do you really need this much crap? I mean, God, all the warm tones... And no planning whatsoever, I genuinely feel embarrassed to be in here."

"Yeah, well, what do you expect? I'm a busy man, Malfoy. Don't have time for your kind of fancy shit, nor do I like the thought of wasting money on that sort of thing." Draco looked up in amusement at the use of his last name, knowing he had struck a nerve and relishing in it. They shared eye contact once again, for a little longer until Draco rose to his feet and took off the blanket, dumping it on Harry.

"Cute."

"Would it kill you to not tease me for two minutes? You just came and you're already finding fault in everything."

"Not my fault I'm the more tasteful type. A true friend is honest, Harry Potter. It's an important trait." Harry only scoffed in reply. That had to mean he was getting more comfortable and that was a good thing, at least.

"Well I doubt your place is any better."

"Feel free to stop by and compare notes. This has got to be the tackiest decorating ever. How many crocheted pillows does one man really need?"

"They're from Mrs Weasley and they're all amazing." Draco chuckled, pausing when Harry looked him in the eye with some fire that said he meant his words. "Don't make fun of them. Yeah? Don't."

"Fair enough. It's none of my business, anyway. I believe I was promised tea? You should hop to it, bunny."

Harry flushed at the nickname, uncomfortable with how it sounded coming directly from Draco's lips. Draco arched his brows at him, waiting for a snide comment or complaint but Harry muttered incomprehensibly and went off to the kitchen, leaving the blonde to resist calling out "good boy" after him with effort. Teasing Harry really was his favourite pasttime these days.

Now, on to more important matters, meaning the fact that his shirt was still wet and clinging to his back. He glanced around and walked to Harry's room, hoping to find something one-size-fits-all like a sweater to change into. He was likely going to get scolded for that and that only pushed him more so he found himself rifling through Harry's clothes, amused at how much official wear hung off the racks. What mattered more to him, really, was what he found digging through Harry's drawer.

"Draco, what the fuck are you doing?!" He heard the rattle from Harry's abrupt drop of the tray of tea on the bed and turned around, smirking.

"Nothing, nothing. I was looking for something of yours to change into and lost myself a bit, think you can explain why you have this...?" He asked as he rose a brown plaid skirt in the air. Harry flushed a deep scarlet and yanked it out of Draco's grasp, squeezing the material.
