"where is sua?" "she didn't come yet" the driver responded to sieun. sieun was worried as sua was someone who used to go straight to the car after the dispersal, without anyone noticing. slowly and gradually, the school got empty, there were barely any students seen.
sieun was worried for her younger sister, which she couldn't reveal to others. the driver suggested her to get some help.
she saw someone she could trust coming her way, she ran to the watanabe brothers for help. haruto smiled and asked, "sieun sunbae! why aren't you home yet?" "sua-", sieun paused to catch her breath. "what happened?", yoshi asked.
haruto bent sidewards to see inside the car, sua wasn't there. "sua isn't here yet" "she might've gone home", yoshi replied calmly. "she isn't someone who would go back alone" "did you check the school?" "no, i was afraid-" "did you call at home?" "if mom knows-" yoshi sighed, haruto smiled slightly and ran somewhere. yoshi and sieun exchanged confused looks and followed him.
haruto reached the nursery wings' swing garden. sieun shouted, "why did you-", the three of them looked at the dahlia corner to see sua sitting unbothered, talking to butterflies. yoshi smiled, relieved. whereas sieun was angry at the younger one.
sua didn't bother to see someone else was there, she started swinging, facing the other side. "she's going to be in the senior year next year-" "there's time for next year", yoshi said. "yeah, but this isn't- come on, haruto, this isn't something someone her age would do right?"
haruto took a second to think, then he went and sat on the other swing. "i think i would too", the two brothers laughed. sieun shouted out in frustration, "park sua! to the car! now!" sua flinched and looked beside her to see haruto sitting, swinging in the opposite direction. she hitted her head slightly and got up, "good thing you got up, the swing would've broken anytime soon", sua said and went out of the garden. "hyung!" haruto cried, yoshi controlled his laugh. sieun shouted, "you know how much worried you had me park sua?" "yeah, a little?" "no! more than a little!" "like a lot?" "shut up with your useless talks, you're answering dad about being late!" "i will answer for myself" yoshi ran to go in front of the sisters, sua looked at him with admiration.
"guys, let's study at my home for the half yearly exams!" "i definitely wouldn't want to study with the one i want to beat" "oh come on sua, i can help you!" "then..", sua looked at the other two.
"then i wouldn't want to study with dumb people" "dumb who?" haruto and sieun shouted and exchanged looks. "if you know you know", sua smiled.
"yoshi wouldn't agree, right yoshi?" "right, hyung?" yoshi looked up to the sky, "the weather today is-" "answer us!", they both said in unison.
"you guys definitely are not dumb" haruto and sieun's face lit up. it was hard for four people to walk upon the footpath which was a bit lifted from the wet ground to reach the outside of the school.
sua walked in the front, and was actually not attentive of her surroundings, she forgot that there was a step after the footpath ended. everyone else were busy checking if they were dumb or not. sua walked without taking care of the step, and tripped, but both her hands were pulled back.
yoshi, who held one hand asked, "are you okay?", haruto, who held the other hand went, "are you blind?" sua nodded and sighed. sieun chuckled, "which one did you nod to?" everyone laughed, haruto started walking in front of her.
the pairs reached back home, the brothers waited for the girls to go inside first. "hyung, i am hungry, let's just go" "manners, kid"
the girls went inside, in the corridor stood their father, with a raised eyebrow. "extra classes for mid terms, ask the neighbors" sua said and bowed.
her father chuckled, sieun was confused, she smiled awkwardly and went inside her room. their father checked the neighbors, the boys stood in front of their main entrance.
"ruto, how'd you know sua was there? did she tell you?" "do you think she talks to me?" "oh yeah-" "he-her loss" "then? how'd you know?"

"mrs.watanabe, was my daughter in the park when you came back?" "why? what happened uncle?" "we couldn't find her, son" "yes, she was in the park, she said she was waiting for her mother", mrs.watanabe replied.
"her mother went to sieun's competition-" "why do you all treat her like a pushover?" haruto sighed and ran outside towards the park.
"you should consider informing the security, mr.park" "my men are on work, mrs.watanabe"
everyone searched for the small girl, her mother who promised her to come for her had to prioritise her other daughter, she came back with a giggling sieun who had won her competition.
she was worried after seeing a worried face of her husband, "sua? is she home yet?" "no! why didn't you go to her? why did you leave the other daughter of mine alone?", the father was on the verge of crying.
"dad, i won!" he calmed down and smiled at her older daughter, appreciating her win.
haruto had found his friend, in the nursery wings' swing garden. the security men took them home, sua didn't talk, "you should've come with me! or atleast let me stay when i told-" "thank you" haruto calmed down. he checked the pockets and gave a hairpin to her, "why?" "yoshi hyung got-" sua snatched it from his hand, haruto chuckled.
both of them struggled to ring the bell of the door, the door opened, "sua!" sua smiled faintly, her father lifted her up and hugged her.
"where did you go child?" she didn't reply. he looked down to see a smiling haruto.
he took them both inside, sua's mother was apologetic, the maid cleaned both of their hands and wounds. sieun shouted, "why is no one looking at my trophy?" haruto shouted, "wow! can i take that home?" "no! get yours!"
the bell rang, yoshi came inside to the living room, sua ran up to him. "are you okay?", she nodded.
he patted her head, it's always been a pleasant feeling for her, she had felt safe whenever yoshi did that. all her happiness hormones had reached the peak at that moment, she smiled and said, "thank you for the hairpin" "wha-" haruto closed yoshi's mouth and bowed to the elders. he dragged his elder brother out of the house.
