chapter 05:

after attempting the last exam, the expressions on everyone's face was different.

sua seemed satisfied but her expressions were hard to read. yedam got up after the bell rang, and asked, "how did they go? do you think you could get 98.3% or more?"
sua smiled and asked, "how was it for you?"
"i am very sure i'll make it to the 90's"

sua nodded, "that'll be so good!", sua analysed the classroom, her eyes landed on haruto, who seemed a bit down.

sua took out her sticky notes and sticked one onto haruto while dispersal.

haruto had an annoyed expression, but as he realised who did it, he smiled to himself. he removed it from his forehead and read it.
"don't dwell on the past, sow for the future"

haruto kept it in his pocket and went out. the children were told to assemble in the ground.

everyone stood in the height order, the seniors and secondary seniors were present. sua's eyes searched for her sister and yoshi.
"attention, everyone"

"this is arranged for you to guide you for your future from here!"

till long long, the different teachers continued with their boring speeches. the fun part came with the music teacher's turn.

"only books or no books shouldn't be an option, students. no matter how much you study, you won't be able to enjoy your life unless you've been in love! or you've experienced emotions like that! so tell me how many of you have had your first kiss?"
everyone looked flustered and started making noises. the principal was shocked as well.

"raise your hands? yes?"

"ruto, you know the sleeping beauty?"
"yeah? she looking beautiful while sleeping?"
"tch!"
the girl hit haruto on his shoulder.

"no, she was in deep sleep and only the true love's kiss could wake her up"
"was she annoying?"
"i don't know"
"if she was, and i was the prince, i wouldn't have kissed her"
"that's so rude, you would've let her die?"
"yeah"
"really?"
sua pretended to faint. haruto laughed, "yoshi hyung is not here, get up"

"i won't actually kiss the sleeping beauty if she's annoying", sua sighed and was about to open her eyes when she felt a warm feeling on her lips. she opened her eyes, haruto ran at the speed of flash and didn't come back.
"merry christmas, merry christmas", the rooster from the clock shouted.

present time
sua looked around to see her sister raising her hand, she then saw yoshi who had a confused reaction as he was looking into his brother's direction.
sua looked back to see haruto had his hand raised.
"is that regarded as..", sua kept her hand down.
"it would've been someone else".

"i see, very few" the teacher said.
"i want you all to have it, almost everyone! before the summer vacation ends! fall in love kids! it's the age of falling in love!"
sua sighed.

sieun rolled her eyes, "fall in love, once a week" she said and laughed.

it was dispersal soon, yoshi approached sieun, "hey, if you guys don't mind, could you drop us home? our driver won't be able to come today"
"yes sir, since you helped me with studies!"
"is sua already inside?"
"yes, she is drawing something"

haruto ran to sit in the back seat, sua flinched and closed her tablet. haruto sat in beside her, yoshi came from the other side.
"weirdos!" sieun mumbled and sat in the front seat.

sua was flustered and couldn't move because of the awkwardness. haruto snatched her tablet and tried to open it, she took it back and glared at him. he smiled and kept it back on her lap.

yoshi smiled and looked outside, then he looked towards haruto, "by the way, ruto, first kiss? when? who?"
haruto looked outside. "the weather today is.."

"and sieun..yours?"
"yoshi you remember that jaehyuk guy who left like-"
"him? really? you guys were a thing?"
"yeah.."
"he was a good guy though"
"yeah, i still appreciate him"

"ruto, your turn?"
sua had her eyes closed. haruto looked towards her, "shush, she is sleeping, let's talk about this later on"
"sure, we live in the same house anyways!"

"it might've been some of those girls he dated in the 8th year", sieun said.

sua laid her head on yoshi's shoulder, everyone looked at her all of a sudden. yoshi smiled, "sua, are you very tired?"
she didn't reply. sieun laughed, "what drama is this? haruto, click a picture"
"why? you click it"
"come on, you're using the phone anyways"
haruto nodded and clicked a picture. sua opened her eyes and sat up properly.
"i'm sorry, i guess i dozed off"
"yeah, you should be more careful"
haruto said.

yoshi laughed it off. they all reached home and got off together.

"are you thinking what i am thinking, mr.park?"
"yes mr.watanabe, i think this is the only way to save both our companies"
"a union?"
"a union."

"yes yedam?"
"hey, i just called to remind you about the basketball game!"
"i remember"
"by the way, are you taking what our music teacher said seriously?"
"no actually, but i do want to tell someone-"
"wait, you have someone you like?"
"kind of"
"oh my goodness, and how didn't you tell me!?"
"i- you wouldn't have believed-"
"so wait, should i tell doyoung to back off?"
"i-"
"so wait, when are you planning to confess?"
"do you think i can?"
"yeah! come on! i'd be the happiest if you do so!"
"i'll try soon!"
the talk ended with chuckles and goodbyes from both sides.
