just a little bit, was not a sentence, it meant a lot to haruto. he was finally satisfied in all the years he had known sua. the feeling of knowing that the other person feels the same even if it's just a little bit, was all he felt. haruto was the happiest boy at the moment.
on the other hand there was yoshi, who didn't know why he used to feel jealous of his younger brother's presence around sua, when they were both set to married at some point. an amusing thing was, in a day full of frowns and anger, sieun's funny or lame talks used to make him smile, but he might have been wishing for something else, something more perfect?
the summer vacation had ended, it was the day result would be up. everyone was getting ready for school. sua was wished luck by her parents and sieun just wanted to get average marks.
sua didn't show her nervousness but it was visible on her face. the sisters went out and reached school, but the worst thing which they believed could happen, happened. students were surrounded by the car and saw sua and sieun together.
sieun got out and said, "i gave my friend a lift on the way, is it very interesting?" "your friend? she is literally your sister" a girl from the crowd said.
"yeah she is, and what do you want to do about it?" sua sighed and got off, she tried to escape but the crowd was heavy.
"no wonder she tops the class" "having your dad own the school is the best thing"
"what is happening?", haruto's voice made almost everyone run to their classes. sua looked at him, he nodded assuring it was alright.
yoshi said, "so it's revealed now?" sieun nodded. they all went to their classes. haruto and sua entered together gaining different types of glances except for of two people, yedam and jeongwoo who already knew about sua's identity and their relationship.
the result was uploaded in the main corridor. everyone was assembled there. sua ran to see the board, making her way through the crowd. she jumped up high to search for her name, a guy said, "do you have to see the results too? you're on the top again" sua ignored him and checked her marks, "98-" "98.5!" yedam shouted in excitement, "wohoo sua! that's the mid term highest score yet!" sua was delighted, she couldn't believe she actually surpasses yoshi's score.
sua searched through the list, "woah, 83 percent!", she turned around and searched for haruto, haruto was busy finding his way through the crowd. "watanabe haruto!", haruto looked in her direction and helped her out. she ran around him in circles, he chuckled and asked, "did you beat his score?" sua nodded while smiling. "congratulations!" "congratulations to you too! 83 percent!?" "wait, really?" "yeah! i'm so proud of you!" "are you sure you checked for my name only?" sua rolled her eyes. "woah, i can't believe it" "you studied hard, well done haruto", sua hitted him on the back. there was silence everywhere and everyone looked at them. sua was embarrassed, haruto chuckled.
"sua! be my friend too!" a random girl said from the crowd. sua looked at her, "yeah, i didn't get good marks this time, maybe if i become close to the daughter of the owner of the school, i can also have a raise in my marks like haruto" she looked at haruto. sua sighed, "he got good marks because he studied, unlike someone" "booo!" the crowd went. haruto controlled his laugh. yedam came out and said, "i'm sorry, we don't allow more friends". sua chuckled.
"congratulations, brother in law", he whispered in haruto's ear, making him chuckle. "for what?" "a lot of things", yedam laughed and went away, waving.
"what did he say?" "thanks" "huh?" "for teaching me during exams" sua smiled and looked towards the senior's result board haruto ran towards their board with his hands in his pocket.
he checked the result and came back to sua, "he got 94 percent only", "huh? really?" "yeah" "it would've been 99!" "no, it's 94!" "sieun?" "didn't check hers"
sua went to sieun's class to see her sitting while laying her head down. yoshi noticed her and congratulated her, "you won over my record!" "what happened with your grades?" "oh i don't know, it's like that only i guess" "sieun?" "she's sad, she got one less percent that what she expected"
sua patted her sister's head, sieun looked up at her with swollen eyes. "yah- don't cry!" "where will i go with 64 percent?!" "home" everyone in the class laughed. sieun got up and glared at the class. yoshi chuckled and said, "these are not finals, don't worry, you'll get a good university"
"yeah obviously, her father is rich so", a guy said. yoshi glared at him.
sieun got up and held that guy's collar. "keep your mouth shut". he apologized and went back to his seat. sieun went out, yoshi followed her.
another girl from the class said, "sieun fought back, her younger sister could never", the whole class of immature seniors laughed. sua sighed and was about to go out when a guy held her hand, "where?" sua was tired of the day already, so many people to deal with.
"i've had enough, sunbae", sua said and removed his hand, walking out of the class.
