chapter 4:

"you're here?"
"yeah, i want to score well in the last year"
"sua?"
"she was taking a nap!"
"did she stay up at night?"
"probably, she always does, are you only letting me in when i come with her?"
"come on in, haruto is into studying today"
yoshi chuckled.

sieun followed yoshi to their study room, "i've never been in the study room at my house but i bet yours is better",
"why haven't you gone in yours?"
"it's full of books only sua and dad go there, i feel suffocated"

"i know right, books are-", haruto spoke up, earning a glare from his brother. sieun chuckled and sat down. "where is your sister?"
"why do you both keep wondering about her? people rarely care about her presence"
no one replied.

"i'll go then", haruto said and stood up. yoshi pulled him down,"why idiot? sit and sudy"
"you both will study among yourselves! who will teach me?"
"i will, don't worry", yoshi said, haruto sighed and sat down.

sieun's concepts got clearer as yoshi explained them, it resulted to be a good revision for yoshi as well. haruto was stuck on the first chapter, probably because of a diverted mind.
after an hour, the bell rang, haruto ran towards the door. sieun laughed,"he was finding a way to escape"
"focus", sieun nodded.

haruto opened the door to sua, his face lit up. she motioned him to get aside, she leaded him to the study room. "how did you remember-"
"i've come to your house before"
"yeah, like 6 years ago"

sua went inside to see yoshi and sieun studying, yoshi smiled while concentrating on his numerical.

sua sat on one side of the empty table. "i was sitting there", haruto said.
sua motioned him to sit in front of her instead.

he nodded and sat down. she started solving a sample paper, haruto stared at her. she looked up to him,"can you study instead?"
"i am stuck"
"which one?"

haruto pointed at a random question while staring at her. she sighed and motioned him to look on the paper, he nodded.
"this is an easy one, do it on your own"
"why did you ask then?"

yoshi got up and handed something to sua, sua looked upto him with a confused look,"previous years'", sua nodded and mouthed a thanks.

sieun shouted,"ah! so frustrating!", the other three chuckled.

sua glared at haruto,"what?"
"you laugh very loudly"
"shut up, duckface"

yoshi glared at him,"i'm going to listen those definitions in ten minutes-"
"ne hyung!"
haruto laid down, learning the definitions. sieun hit him with her leg, and chuckled. "why are you both so distracted, you have an exam next week!"

sua completed her 3-hour test in two and stared at haruto who was struggling to memorise a definition.

"why do you have to be so dumb?"
"did you say something?" haruto asked, sua shook her head and wrote something on a sticky note. she stuck it on his forehead, resulting to an annoyed haruto. he removed it, it was a help note for the chapter, he smiled and learnt the chapter.

yoshi asked,"are you done?", haruto nodded hesitantly, yoshi handed him a sheet to fill. sua smiled and took out another paper to solve. haruto completed it and returned to yoshi with a smile. yoshi chuckled,"why do you seem confident?"
"i knew nothing"
"let me see"
yoshi checked it.

"good job, haruto. 17/30 is a progress!", haruto nodded. sieun hitted him and said, "ha! i got 18/30"
"you're not in my class!"
"then? should i compare you to sua? the bookworm?"
haruto rolled his eyes.

sua was stuck on a question, yoshi went to sit beside her, she flinched, he smiled and backed off a little. "i can help", she shook her head. "alright, i'll just observe then", sua nodded.

haruto asked in a loud voice,"what do i do?"
"next chapter!", yoshi said.

sua figured out the question and solved it in a different way. yoshi asked,"the question is wrong, how did you get the answer?"
"she's a psychopath",sieun said and laughed.

"nah, just more intelligent than us", haruto said. "the question was wrong for this topic, but we could get the answer using other-", yoshi smiled, again making her feel things and resulting her to stop talking.

a knock was heard on the door, haruto sat up nicely and got involved with his books. "hello, mrs.watanabe"
"oh! sua-sieun! it's rare to see you guys here"

"mom, i told you about the mid-terms right?" yoshi said, causing her to nod.
"and is my younger one finally studying?", she glanced at haruto who was trying to control his laugh. "miracles do happen i guess". she said and left some snacks by the table.

sua smiled and got up, "i'll get going now", haruto held her hand to stop her. she looked at him, "i want help with these questions", he showed her the book. she removed his hand and said, "your brother would help".
"oh come on! he is helping your sister! you can help me in return"

sua glanced at sieun. sieun looked at her with puppy eyes, yoshi chuckled. sua nodded and sat down, haruto started causing noise as he ate all kinds of snacks. sua sighed and snatched it from him.
"you could've asked for it, you know?", sua glared at him, he left it and got up to clean his hands from yoshi's shirt. yoshi sighed. he sat down, smiling.

sua handed him his book covered with a sticky note around every question, he sighed. "explain it verbally instead"
"no, this is better"
"okay, just sit and observe then"
sua nodded, he started solving the questions. she kept nodding when he did it rightly and patted on his sheet when he was going wrong.

sieun yawned and everyone looked at her, "what? i am not used to studying all day!"
yoshi nodded with a smile and they both went out, sua looked at the door. haruto looked at her and did one wrong on purpose, she didn't concentrate. "is this right?"
"yes"
"really? it shows a different answer on the back"
sua looked down and corrected him. "they just went to have some water"
"oh? okay"
"yeah"
"wait, i didn't ask"
"you seemed curious though"
sua nodded.

they all studied together on alternate days before the exams finally began, it was the same everyday.
