sua cried in her room, looking at her grandma's last left gift for her. her door opened and someone came in, "i'm sorry i didn't knock-" "go out haruto, i don't want to talk" "hey, i just wanted to say you don't have to cry? okay?" haruto said as he sat beside sua. "just go out haruto!" sua said as she glared at him.
he smiled a bit and tried to pat her hand when she moved away suddenly. a loud noise was heard. it was like sua's heart that broke with the snowglobe, her memories, shattered, her love for her grandmother was lying down on the ground.
she was so angry at that moment, it was no one's fault but she had to blame it on the guy who came to comfort her.
the last day of the year, she started hating the poor kid. since then, every year, she was alone, she tried to stay as far as possible from the neighbors.
present time "sua.." "i don't want to talk" "i want to, please" "no"
sua locked the door from inside and sat down, crying. she couldn't tell about her feelings to anyone else, she wouldn't want to have things her way by force. she cried, she cannot get the grasp of the situation. she finally tried to get up and close the window.
haruto popped up and sighed, he got inside the room and closed the window. "so cold". sua was shocked.
"what? everyone is so worried. stop crying now, you look ugly" "you look uglier", sua chuckled in between. haruto smiled and said, "sua, i know it was shocking for all of us, but-" "haruto, let's talk" "yeah alright"
"haruto, why are they marrying them both?" "why? do you want it to be like that family game? always you and yoshi hyung and that's it?" sua nodded and cried.
"are you a baby? stop crying like one!" "why don't you ever let me cry properly? let me cry well for once! i swear i won't usually" "don't cry. i hate it." "haruto" "yeah?" "i like your brother" haruto looked outside.
"haruto" "yeah?" "i like-" "i know, i know you like him. i have always known" sua smiled like a child.
"you should tell your parents you like him, they'll obviously listen to you and do something about it" "wouldn't it be changing four lives?" "yeah but if it makes atleast two among us happy-" "what should i do?", sua cried.
haruto sighed and asked, "have you forgiven me?" "you?" "yeah, since you're finally interacting with me after so many years" "i'm sorry, you were never at fault" "sua, go to sleep now" "yeah, i guess that would be better" "wait, wash your face first" "no, i want to sleep" "stop being stubborn" haruto pushed her towards the bathroom. "kajja, kajja, kajja" "ah! why!"
sua came out and laid on the bed, haruto covered her with the blanket and closed the lights. what could be said was, he did a good job distracting her.
sua opened the lights and covered her mouth to prevent screaming as haruto stood there itself. "what? i told you to sleep, i'll go when you sleep" "so unfair, go please" "are you sleeping or should i stay here for the whole night?" "i am actually asleep, close the lights!" sua fell asleep not much later. haruto went outside to see mrs.park waiting for him, "how is she?" "sleeping, i don't think she'll be in a good mood in the morning" "thank you for making her sleep, son" "anytime"
he didn't know how to feel. he was confused about everyone's emotions, about what would happen now. he wanted to consider everyone's feeling, but something inside him told him to be selfish and let whatever is happening happen.
he was happy about the fact he and sua could go back to the old times now, since she wasn't really bothered about that day from their past, but he was worried about her feelings for yoshi, what it would lead to. he was worried for her relationship with sieun.
haruto went to sieun's room, and wished her a goodnight before leaving. she wasn't very bothered about the news, she was living the same life.
as haruto went back home he was told his brother isn't back home after going out few hours ago. "come on mom, i'm the youngest, shouldn't they all be considerate and understand the situation instead of me playing the mature role?" "yes my son, but i'm glad you're finally acting like a grown up"
"i wonder where yoshi is, i need to discuss about the functions" "mom, what if sieun likes someone else?" "if she does, she is a bold girl, she would've told us. good thing, she doesn't actually like anyone at the moment" "what if yoshi hyung likes someone else?" "he does? my yoshi likes someone? this is something i never expected to hear. he has been equally nice to everyone, he won't fall for someone in specific would he?" "he might like someone"
"what about you haruto! do you like it?" "like what?" "the fact that you'll marry sua?" "don't say it like that" haruto sighed and looked away.
"why? are you shy?" "no mom, i am worried. what if any of the four of us like someone else?" "let's see, do you like someone else?" "i don't like someone else" "okay, sorted for you. what about sua?" "she probably does. her reaction-" "she might've been startled, that's it" "goodnight mom" "mhm, goodnight"
