sometime earlier:
"kiddo, see that girl?", haruto talked to a little girl. she nodded, "yeah?"
"do me a favor and i'll buy you an ice cream okay?"
the girl nodded again.
"give this to that girl, and tell her to be careful, if she asks something, tell her you had an extra bandage!"
"will i get an ice cream then?"
"yeah!"
haruto waited from behind for the girl to do her work and comeback. he treated her an ice cream. the girl asked, "that unnie is so cute"
"i know right"
"who are you?"
"me? i am haruto"
"no, who is she?"
"she is sua"
"tch, you're so dumb"
"i-"
"but you are a good guy, oppa!"
haruto chuckled.

he continued following sua, she was so involved in herself to ever notice him. he had been behind her all the time. to the book fair, the karaoke, café and back home. her delusional brain who thought the shadow to be nothing but leaves, was wrong. it was actually haruto.

"now that you tell me all this, didn't you waste your whole day?"
"well, i can say that i celebrated getting good marks too!"
"you're unbelievable"

sua chuckled. there was awkward silence between them. both of them looked at each other once, the look on haruto's face whenever he saw sua was the most precious thing. his face muscles were relaxed, he had a warm expression which depicted genuine emotions.

"why did you wear glasses?"
"to see clearly!"
"liar, it was the same with the glasses-"
"well.."

haruto chuckled, "i know i know, to prevent the effect of my blinding beauty?"
sua rolled her eyes, "yup that!"
haruto moved around in her room, "what drawing did you hide?"
"what drawings?"
"what drawings?"
"what drawings, haruto?"
sua chuckled nervously.

haruto took out the drawing sheets and opened it before sua to snatch it from him. sua sighed.

"oh yoshi hyung! miss park you are totally in love!"
sua didn't say anything.

"another one, wait did you draw one everyday?"
"enough, keep the file back"
"why? you're a good artist, i am enjoying it"
"are you?"
"not actually, but hey, you drew him well"
haruto took out another old file, sua snatched it from him.

"why? what is more secretive than yoshi hyung's drawings?"
"just- old drawings, they're dirty, don't touch them"
"oh yeah?"
haruto was salty, he was mad after seeing the drawings obviously.

"sua, will you please give me a chance?"
"a chance?"
"yeah, you never considered me before"
sua had an apologetic expression, then she smiled and nodded.

haruto nodded back, "alright, i don't think you're hungry, according to how much you've eaten, so just go to sleep now"
sua nodded and handed him a hotdog.

"heat it up, and eat it later!"
haruto took it and nodded. he was about to go out but something seemed out of place. haruto turned around, sua raised an eyebrow. "what?", she looked around herself.

haruto kissed her forehead. "better now?"
"yah-"
haruto went out to see mrs park standing with her hands on her waist, "yes sir, what's going on between you two?"
"nothing, mother!"
"you're going faster than the other couple aren't you?"
"we've probably just started!" haruto winked and ran out to his house.

it was another day at school, sua was the first to come into class. she opened the windows and sat down, waiting for others. she took a deep breath and closed her eyes.

she thought about what all has happened in the past few days. she felt all kind of emotions, guilty for never considering haruto, sad, happy as well, most of all, complicated.

gradually, students came inside, sua dress something in her note book. the teacher was here, sua looked around in the class, to find haruto wasn't here yet.

she sighed and continued paying attention to what the teacher said. she was talking about the grades and how everyone should inspire from sua.

yedam said, "where are you lost?"
"um, nowhere"
"how are things at home?"
"it's getting better"
"that's good, so why isn't brother in law present?"
"who?"
yedam cleared his throat and said, "haruto?"
"i don't know, he should've been here"
sua pouted.

yedam smiled in a cheesy way and looked away.

the school was over after what felt like a whole day to sua, she went outside to see her car wasn't there.

she was confused but then she heard yoshi, "sieun went back early, i told her i'll take you back"
sua nodded, "i thought you didn't come to school today"
"i just came late"
"got that"
"sua, let's talk"
sua looked at yoshi with a confused expression.

he dragged her to the swings area. "what do you want to talk about?"
yoshi looked nervous, he gulped and said, "switch with sieun"
