the car ride was silent, no one talked. sua ran to her room after getting off the car. yoshi sighed, "i shouldn't have said it".

sua ran inside her room, her mother was confused. she saw haruto laying on her bed. "what are you doing here?"
"what happened?"
"n-nothing"
"why were you running?" haruto asked as she looked out of the window.

"why are you here?"
"well, i didn't go to school since i was sick-"
"what happened?"
"well i am hot as of now"
"did you go to the doctor?"
"no, i came here and waited for you"
sua made a disgusted face and went to change. haruto chuckled and laid back down.

she came out and said, "go back and get some rest"
"nope, not until you tell me what happened", haruto stood up and walked towards her.

"yoshi"
"yoshi?"
"you were right, he feels the same, probably"
sua looked at haruto with a pout.

"oh?"
"he asked me to switch with sieun"
haruto didn't say anything but stared at her. haruto's heart was about to pop out any time he has never been so unsure, so nervous about something.

"sieun is so happy, isn't she?"
"but you aren't"
"well, i guess-"
"what will you do?"
haruto asked cutting her off. he felt weird asking that, but he wanted to know. he wanted to console himself soon if she chose her first love, or he wanted to take her permission to continue loving her.

sua sighed and sat on the bed. haruto smiled slightly after fighting with all the thoughts in his head, "do what will keep you happy"
sua looked at him, he smiled and nodded, restricting his true emotions to appear. sua motioned him to come to her. he sat beside her.

"mister, you are very hot"
"i know right"
"nope, rest now"
"yeah, i'll go"
"just lay down here"
sua said and looked at him.

"you won't need space to think about what yoshi hyung said?"
"i don't want to think about it right now"
haruto smiled and laid down, thinking about is he becoming a hindrance between the two, should he let it be or should he be their matchmaker if it makes the two happier. sua arranged her canvas and started drawing. there was a knock on the door.

haruto got up and opened it, "oh, how are you now?"
"better!"
"sua eat something!"
mrs park said, sua nodded.

haruto took out his phone and clicked some pictures. sua glared at him, "oh! cute!"
sua chuckled and said, "weirdo, take some rest"
"i'm having fun, it's equal to good rest"
"you're fun"
"+1!"
haruto chuckled and laid down facing sua.

"and distractive"
"+1!"
"tch tch, enough now!"
"eat up first"
"mhm, phone down, no pictures allowed"
"yes ma'am"
"obedient"
"+1!"
"shut up!"
"ne!"
both of them laughed, among the worries. the door opened and sieun came in, she walked to sua and pushed her canvas away, sua flinched. haruto stood up, shocked. sieun held her shirt and said, "so, you're playing with both of them?"
"huh?"
"what happens to me?"
"what-"
sieun slapped her.

"sieun!", haruto yelled and stood in between of them.
"what?! why is she playing with four lives!"
"she isn't, she hasn't done anything"
"yeah, you both will side with her, what about me, haruto? I got no one with me!"
"no one is siding with her-"
"oh it's so visible! she has got everything! grades, you, dad and even yoshi! I have nothing with me!"
sua closed her eyes and cried.

"sieun, calm down, let's talk later, please go out for now"
"i need answers haruto!"
"please sieun"
sieun groaned and went out slamming the door. haruto sighed and turned around to face sua.

haruto lifted her face, "don't cry, you know i don't-"
"it's always my fault"
"no, it's not"
sua cried openly. haruto sighed and pulled her into a hug.

"h-haruto, my sister hates me- the thing i feared the most is happening!"
"sua, listen to me, for once, think for yourself and do what makes you happy, i'll make the others happy, don't worry, no one will hate you, i promise. choose what will make you happy, I'll support you"
"why? why should i leave it to you? what about your happiness?"
"i'll get happiness by doing that!"
sua punched haruto slightly. "no, you won't", and pulled away.

sua cleaned her tears and looked up at him. he smiled slightly, "i'll make everything okay!"
"y-yeah, okay, i wish the best for both of you"
sua chuckled and ran to the neighbors' house. haruto sighed and sat down holding his chest. "it's not fun being the second lead, jihoon hyung".

haruto went to jeongwoo's house, "oh goodness, what have you done to yourself, did you drink?"
"no, I cried"
"that's pretty visible"

jihoon came to the door and let out a sigh. "why is life so cruel, we can't always have what we love"
he pulled haruto into a hug.

"haruto, I was joking at that time, no one's a second lead in their own story. Relation doesn't matter, you don't have to be with someone to love them, a love from a distance is a thing not everyone gets to witness and it's as beautiful as it's painful"

"hyung, she told me I have a chance, she told me she likes me a little bit, will she go back to yoshi hyung so easily? I know I am not as good at yoshi hyung, but I can.."

"haruto enough, I can't see you this way dude! you're the coolest person I know. a person can't change you, stop being a crybaby. life isn't just about her!"

"it is! my life is about her! I've dreamt us together when I didn't even know words like love!

haruto shrugged and went back to his house to see sua and yoshi in a hug. his face was plastered with a bitter smile.
