"isn't that sua?" "she's back" "she looks prettier" "didn't you guys see her artworks?" "she's a work of art herself" the staff whispered.
sua walked to the reception, the receptionist smiled and said, "the chairman's room"
sua nodded, returning a smile and walked to the elevator. she reached the floor she was supposed to be on, she was nervous, excited and so much more. she wanted to take look at her favorite people.
sua walked towards the door, sneaking though the glass wall, sua froze when she saw haruto. he was smiling, his smile, it was so rare to see. sua was relieved, she couldn't have been happier, but he wasn't alone, he was laughing and joking with an unfamiliar woman standing beside his chair. sua took a long breath, she was about to knock on the door but then she realized the level of intimacy between haruto and the girl who stood beside him.
sua stepped back and turned around, she rushed out of the lobby to search for water. sua found a water cooler, she drank some water and calmed herself down.
"sua?", sua turned around to see a familiar guy. "steve! I didn't know you applied to my company!" "your company?" "well, your friend actually is a share holder", sua chuckled. steve smiled and said, "never thought of it, by the way, didn't you just return? shouldn't you be resting?" "well, you know how energetic I was in the United States as well, don't worry, work hard!" sua smiled and left steve smiling as well as she walked outside, observing around.
she then saw the conference room's door opened, sua put on a smiled and walked inside to see sieun and yoshi discussing something.
sua cleared his throat. both of them looked at her, sieun teared up and ran to her sister.
"did you get taller? you look prettier!" "merci!" sua said, sieun chuckled and hugged her. yoshi stood up and opened his arms. sua smiled and hugged yoshi, "I missed you guys so much, when am I getting to be an aunt by the way?" yoshi smacked sua's head, "by the way, did you meet haruto? he said he was busy and he'll only come here when you would be here" "oh"
steve came inside the room and said, "oh, sorry-" "oh steve, come inside!", sua yelled.
steve nodded and walked in, sua said, "oppa, this guy is actually a friend from the university, he told me he was applying for a job here and left one month ago, but see the coincidence!", sua told yoshi.
sieun said, "you always get all the handsome friends-"
everything went silent once someone ran inside and held the door. sua held steve's arm as she was startled, she left it to realize it was haruto, he had this desperate look on his face which cooled down after he looked at sua.
haruto stood up properly and placed his hands inside his pockets. he was wearing a formal suit. he looked at sua, waiting for her to say something.
yoshi noticed the tension, he knew the reasons as well. sieun tried to break the ice, "oh! haruto! you're finally here after knowing sua is here?"
haruto didn't respond, he just stared at sua. sua cleared her throat, "hey!", sua said, burying the words she actually wanted to say, deep inside.
a hey? it was enough for haruto to loose his tongue. the voice he was waiting to hear for so long, he heard it right now. haruto gulped his saliva.
sua faked a smile while her heart pained of what she saw earlier. sua said, "steve, you can go do your work!" "see you soon!" "mhm"
sua sat down beside yoshi, haruto sat down beside sieun.
yoshi patted sua's back and nodded. sua was confused, she just smiled at him.
sieun said, "guys, I was expecting something grand, why is everything so dull? are you meeting for the first time?", me too, I was waiting for a hug and a long scolding, haruto thought.
"it seems like it", sua said. haruto let out a chuckle, "it's been a while.." that's so rusty!
haruto cleared his throat. the woman who was with haruto before, walked inside, "sir, you've got a meeting in fifteen minutes", she said. haruto nodded with a smile.
sua just felt defeated at that point.
"I'm nayoung", the girl bowed. yoshi and sieun smiled.
"she's my secretary", haruto said, nayoung smiled.
sieun looked at sua, then at yoshi, sieun sighed, she knew what was up. sua smiled and said, "we need to do a family talk-"
"it's okay, it'll be fine with her", haruto said. sua lost it there and then, she was done. yoshi chuckled nervously, "miss nayoung, I would politely ask you to leave"
nayoung awkwardly smiled and walked outside. haruto was confused. sua was frozed, she was looking at the ground.
yoshi tapped her hand and smiled, sua smiled and said, "yoshi oppa and sieun, you guys have been handling the japanese branch all by yourself, you guys need rest so that..", sua smirked, sieun sighed.
sua chuckled, completely ignoring haruto's existence. "haruto needs rest too, he has been-", yoshi was cut off by haruto, "I enjoy it now..it's fun, I don't think I need rest"
"why don't we all go to a vacation?", sieun suggested.
sua didn't say anything. haruto waited for sua's answer. yoshi said, "haruto, it's time for your meeting".
sua stood up with a smile, "I need to meet some friends, I'll head out?"
"I want you to come to the new mansion for dinner", yoshi said. sua nodded.
sua was about to walk out, but she turned around. "haruto"
haruto looked back, with a smile. sua closed her eyes and controlled herself, "the guy you sent to the airport.." haruto nodded. "I want him as my assistant" haruto hesitated but nodded.
haruto sighed as sua left. yoshi said, "communication is important", as he patted haruto's back, sieun and yoshi left the room as well.
