"This is Jeon Jungkook, CEO of Seoul Higher View. You must pour all your skill, energy and talent into protecting him from all these attacks."
My head snaps up to meet eyes as bewildered as mine.
"You-"
"Do you know each other?"

"So what?" He breathes in my face. "How many people fit that statement? Are you going to suspect everyone around Jungkook?" He mutters angrily and I nod.
"That's exactly what I'm going to do. So I suggest that instead of holding me like that, you prove to me you have nothing to do with these attacks." I hold his glance and he doesn't seem to let me go.
I sigh at his behaviour. I really wish he'd let me leave the room.
"You want me to prove to you that I'm not trying to kill my best friend?" He blurts out after a while, still not letting go of me.
"Isn't that what I just said?" I deadpan in a matter-of-fact tone.
"Come to my house after your shift ends. I'll tell you everything you need to know about my relationship with Jungkook." He steps back about to leave but I grab his wrist.
His eyes glance at my grip on his arm before meeting mine.
"Why would you do that?" I ask, suspicious of his intentions.
He lifts an eyebrow at me.
"Can't let me go, princess?" He smirks, bringing back the act of earlier and I roll my eyes, although not letting go.
"Why would you do that?" I insist.
It's his turn to roll his eyes at me.
"Maybe, I want you to stop being suspicious of me and find out who's trying to kill my best friend." He deadpans and I let go of his arm.
He definitely has a point...
Am I wrong to suspect him in the first place? He smiles at my flustered face and leaves, waving at Jungkook on his way out.
I remain in the doorway for a few seconds before looking at what Taehyung put in my hand.
It's a card with his number and address on it.
I glance at it before shoving it in my pocket and returning by the main door. Jungkook is keeping busy, guests come and go, he cuts deals with some companies, discusses projects...
And every time someone enters I have to check them for weapons and anything dangerous...

When evening finally comes, Jungkook puts his things into order and pulls his coat on.
Hoseok isn't here yet...
I take out my phone and send him a short text. His reply comes fast enough.
"In the evening you escort Jungkook home, in the morning I escort him to work."
I mouth an 'Ah' and look up at Jungkook who's holding his bag, ready to go. He's wearing a serious expression as he turns around towards the wall and turns off the light.
