I fold the sweater and jogs, closing the bag. I haven't seen Jin for the past two days I've been in the hospital.
But can I blame him?
Hyejin...

She's gone because of me.

At least I've avenged her in depriving him rest in the afterlife. He'll roam the Earth, tormented.

I've been granted the right to deprive Taehyung of both burial and cremation. I just received a call earlier to tell me Taehyung's body will not be taken care of.

I straighten my suit and adjust the armband before heading out of the room.
I bow my head to the nurse and walk out of the hospital.
They agreed to my discharge because I forced it. I'm not better, not physically, not psychologically...
But I need to say my goodbyes to Hyejin. I can't let her leave without sending her off.

I walk out and see my car waiting.

My eyes fall on the man standing by the car, dressed similarly to me...
His face is marked by the same sadness, maybe not exactly the same, but he's in pain too.

"Hoseok." I whisper feeling my tormenting tears filling my eyes and the need to look away takes over.

"I-I'm sorry...I wish...I should've been there." I stare, bewildered at the man looking down, his lips pursed, one single tear staining his face.

I walk to him, slowly.

He's the first person close to me, close to Hyejin whom I've seen in the past two days.
The first person sharing my pain and loss.

He lifts his head and meets my eyes. For some longs seconds, we just stare at each other.
I bite the inside of my cheek and look down, getting into the car.
Hoseok drives silently, driving to my house.
That empty house.

He parks and memories attack me violently when I look up at the house, so many times Hyejin and I ran to the house excitedly or just walked awkwardly.
Sometimes I headed in first, annoyed, or grumpy, and she ran after me, eager to cheer me up, or nag at me to make me smile...

Never again?

I shake my head and look down.

"If you want, I'm you can stay at my place." Hoseok offers and I shake my head.

"It's okay." I whisper, getting out of the car.
