"This is Jeon Jungkook, CEO of Seoul Higher View. You must pour all your skill, energy and talent into protecting him from all these attacks."
My head snaps up to meet eyes as bewildered as mine.
"You-"
"Do you know each other?"

I say goodbye to the captain after he wishes me good luck and head out of the precinct. I drive straight to my brother's place, not bothering to send him a text him first. He knows I'm coming around that time. It takes me 20 minutes to reach his place.
I park and press the elevator button. I ring the bell to his door and it opens less than 30 seconds later.
"Hyejinah!! How is my gorgeous little sister doing?"
Seeing his smile, the kindness in his eyes, the genuineness of his greeting. I can't help the emotions surfacing and rush to him, pulling him into a hug.
"Woah, are you okay, sis?" He whispers, his long arms closing nonetheless around my body. I don't cry. Although the thought of losing him terrifies me to the utmost, I can't tell him. And he'll ask if I start crying.
I nod against his chest before we pull away and I force a smile.
"What's going on?" He asks concerned and I shake my head, waving a dismissing hand.
"I'm okay-"
"Hyejinah! How are you? I saw the news this morning, you looked really good in that dress!" I smile at Ellie who interrupted and I mentally bless her for it.
"I just thought I'd say hi. Also, I needed to warn you that you'll have police protection until Hoseok and I close the case. You're not in immediate danger," I lie when they glance at each other worriedly. "But we agreed that it would be safer. Just in case." Jin nods quietly, quickly flashing his signature smile.
"Don't worry about us, lil sis. Ellie and I are way tougher than we look." He chuckles and takes his girlfriend's hand is his. "Can you stay for a cup of coffee or tell something or do you have to go right now?" I hesitate, pondering over whether or not I should just get going or if I could remain here for a little while.
"Coffee sounds inviting." I end up deciding, smiling kindly at the two and soon we're all chatting joyfully, cups empty on the coffee table, deeply seated in the comfortable couches.
"You know, Hyejinah." I turn my head to my brother, and sigh lightly. "You don't have to worry about us two. I'm serious. I can tell you're worried; but we're going to be okay. If we ever get attacked, we'll run. We won't be playing hero's. It's not our job. We'll get to safety. Okay? Don't let it weigh on your mind." I nod silently, glancing down at them two.
I envied their peace and their happiness, now I'm terrified to be the one destroying it- ending it.
Jin leans his head on Ellie's and sends a kind but tired smile my way, his long fingers paying with her dark hair.
