I pick up my phone and answer Jungkook's call. I'm a little bit more relaxed after calling Jin and just telling him about some random daily details of my life. He gave me news of Ellie, and told me he was doing much better. He wants to come over for the birth of the baby, obviously.
I can't possibly deny him that, nor do I wish to. I want him to be around to see the baby. He's my family.
"Hello, Kookie?" I answer joyfully.
"Hey, baby! I was wondering if you'd like to come to the restaurant with me for lunch? Taehyung is holding a reunion in my stead so I thought I'd be spending this free time with the love of my life."
His sweet words almost tear me away from the worry brought by the mention of Taehyung taking up Jungkook's duties. However, I keep my impressions and thoughts to myself, not wanting to worry him over this.
In a few days, it will all be over.
In a few days, Taehyung will never be able to hurt us again. In a few days, I'll be able to live my life in peace; Jungkook and I will be in peace. Jin will be able to work and live without looking over his shoulder... After giving birth, I'll be returning to the station with Jang Hoon... My life will come back, improved.
"Yeah, I'd love that." I reply with a wide smile, glancing down at our baby who's the luckiest to have a father as perfect as Jungkook.
"Awesome! I'll come pick you up in 20. Stay comfortable, whatever the restaurant I don't want you straining yourself."
Told you...perfect.
"Yessir!" I tease, feeling calm and happy again. "I'll be ready for you, young gentleman."
He chuckles on the other end and we hang up a few seconds later, leaving him to get driven here while I get ready. I struggle to walk up the stairs, that baby has become real heavy in there.
I sigh when I reach the top and take a second to catch my breath. Thank god I worked out well, my back isn't suffering that much. I go to the cupboard Jungkook cleared for me. I've been living with him without having officially moved in. It was more for convenience with the baby and all.
Although Jungkook did ask to move in, I told him I'd give him my answer in a few weeks. I'll probably tell him today.
I pick out black, pregnancy leggings with a warm, long, red jumper. Shoes on, coat on, a lil make up to hide the signs of sleep deprivation and I'm good to go! I don't sleep too well these days, no position is really comfortable.
