My head snaps up to meet eyes as bewildered as mine.
"You-"
"Do you know each other?"

The doorbell rings and I walk to the door, opening it wide.
"Hi, Ellie. Thank you for coming. How are you holding up?" I ask.
I haven't been able to sleep. I laid down for three hours but I've been so anxious I can't seem to sleep that's why I asked Ellie to come over.
"I just came from the hospital. We have to be patient. So that's what I'll be." She gives me a tight smile and removes her coat, leaving it on a chair.
"Um...so, er- Ellie...?" She turns her head to me and I feel the knot in my stomach tightening. "Coffee?" I offer her and she nods walking with me to the kitchen counter. I make her a good cup of coffee and sit down facing her.
"I'm pregnant." I drop and she chokes on her coffee as if I had told her she was the father. I chuckle at her reaction and look down nervously.
"But this- This is amazing!!" I look up and find her with her brightest smile she's shown since they were attacked.
"But, the thing is...I don't know if it's the right time with Jin still in the hospital. And I'm so young. I mean, Jungkook and I have only been together for months, not years. And yes; I love him. And he loves me. And I do think that we'll stay together for as long as life allows us. But I don't know-"
Ellie interrupts me, taking my hands in hers, her eyes suddenly serious and deep. I glance down a second at our hands and quickly meet her eyes.
"I understand." She whispers and I slowly nod.
"But I mean- Jin is the hospital, those attacks aren't over-"
"I know, but does that mean you have to stop living?" I sigh heavily.
"No, but I might actually stop living if I'm as big as a house and can't fight shit and someone attacks us-"
"Us?" Ellie asks with a smile and I quickly shrug.
"Well, me and the baby-" I look down, letting my head fall on my hands.
"Feels like you already know what you really want to do..." Ellie smiles and I groan.
"I know, truth is, I really want to have that baby. But my head keeps throwing these scenarios at my face, and all of those reasons why I shouldn't. And I know that if something happens to me, Jungkook will love the baby, and if something happens to him, I'll love that baby more than my life. And I know that Jungkook is so supportive of whatever decision I might make, he's so supportive that I have no clue what he actually wants."
