"This is Jeon Jungkook, CEO of Seoul Higher View. You must pour all your skill, energy and talent into protecting him from all these attacks."
My head snaps up to meet eyes as bewildered as mine.
"You-"
"Do you know each other?"

Hyejin is back on her feet, it's been four weeks since we got her back. And I'm not prepared to lose her again. Or ever. I have a board meeting in an hour, the subject is the same as the last emergency board meeting : announce an official successor.
I've been planning a dangerous, risky but bold move. And I think it will work. It's risky, but I have to try.
Hoseok glances at his watch before looking up at me.
"It's time."
I nod and we head to the large room where all my board members are already seated in. The door is opened for me and everyone stands when I come in.
Jimin is as usual standing right next to my empty seat. He sends me a simple smile which I return, although the past few weeks, I've found him extremely suspicious. He's acting strange around Hyejin, not the kind of strange one would expect now that she's dating me.
He's acting odd. Shady.
I take my seat and the second I'm sitting, everyone follows in an absolute silence. I give the signal for the meeting to start. A few question are risen, a few statements are made, all directing to one thing : appoint a successor.
I sigh deeply, looking at my mic. They're really not going to like it. But this is for the best. I press on the small button and lean in towards the mic.
"I've already made a decision." I announce and whispers are heard from different parts of the room. "As you've seen, the attacks have had yet to stop, and the case is advancing but very slowly. The police and my personal bodyguards are doing their absolute best. I am going to answer your demands because I know they if I die without appointing anyone, the company will be a mess. I have decided..." I see Jimin shift in his seat nervously, strengthening my suspicions. "I have decided that I would appoint Kim Hyejin, not as my successor!" I finish over the sudden chaos of outraged voices. "NOT as my successor!" I repeat louder into the mic. "But she, the only person I can trust, will be the one to appoint my successor if I were to die."
"That doesn't make any sense." Jimin argues. "She has nothing to do with the business." I nod.
"Hyejin doesn't have anything to do with the business. That's true. And there's a very good reason why I chose her." I go on explaining, the room dead silent, eager to hear my good explanation.
"It's just because she's your girlfriend." One of the board members throws and I glare darkly.
"Next useless remark will cost you your job." I spit and the man sits back, suddenly ashamed and uncomfortable. "No. The reason why...I know that Hyejin is the person who knows most about the case. She's one of the best field agents in Korea and I trust that she will not fail to identify who's behind the attacks. Therefore, if I were to die, the person after my job will never have it." I concluded happily and glance down at Jimin who's trying his best to hide his confusion, and it would seem frustration... "Also, if anything we're to happen to her." I glance around the room, knowing that at least one person is behind the attacks and after my job. "I will make this company a state property." Before anyone can speak up and raise objections, I stand up.
